Wonderful...this is one the very first things I am going to concentrate on...theres no hurry to advance story / factions...they will still be there when you finally get around to it...
They will forever be waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting.. all most forgot there were missions 😂
Got extremely lucky as I landed and pulled out scanner and got 8 resources available. I put down that outpost without moving my character's spot even an inch!

Drove me crazy trying to get 8 and ended up with 7 lead was what I was missing. The map drove me even crazier.

Any idea when inter-system or inter-falaxy resource access will be fixed? This looks like fun and with the slower production rate, you aren't really rushed trying to finish it.
Most names are after scientists or Greek/Roman mythology (deities). Ophiucus is the 13th (yeah) zodiacal sign constellation, and it is near the Scorpion. It means the serpent catcher. The constellation was known to other peoples before the Greeks, like Babylonians. Many names are after real stars, Xi and Zeta are letters in the Greek alphabet is like you name the first star (alpha), second (beta), and so on.

How did your map rotate almost 90* counter-clockwise? You're video makes it look like you are moving the spot south, when it's actually moving to the west of the lake.
Your camera is in space. It has 3 axis for motion. Up and down. Left and right. But it also ROTATES . You click and hold on the planet down low and pull up. You then can use your normal up, down, left, right, and the combination of moves with mouse and keyboard to give you a similar view.
Can someone who's done this take a screen shot of their surface map for a clearer reference please?
I've been looking in Linneaus and couldn't get any more than 6, someone got 7 and I want the exact location!
The game may be randomly generated but I was able to keep loading the same area 3 times on the same drop in location.
Tho the exact location may not be the same as what I got for other people.
It does very ever so slightly as it is randomly generated but I believe the biomes locations do say the same from what I have experienced

I think it's either Zeta O-fee-ooo-chi or fi-ooo-chi.
IF you follow the advice ANYWHERE on the map that covers the locations you will get what he is talking about. I found 5 different spots on this world that would do all of them in about 20 minutes.
How do you zoom in like that? I can't seem to do it.
Like the mega zoom?
I believe it's a difference between PC and Xbox..... sadly. There's not that much zoom in the Xbox
@@siftingsanta like any zoom at all in that resource acquisition mode. On PC and I cannot work out how to and there doesn't seem to be an option for a keyboard bind on my installation.
@@AndyViant I am currently on PC but am using a controller, which from the top of my head is using the triggers, so I would assume using the mouse roll? Let me know if that works, if not I will see what I can figure out for you
does the level of the planet effect me in any way?
Not at all, it just indicates the level of enemies on that planet
Can you find Tirna VIII-c for all 8 resources?
I shell go on a hunt for yah!

Wait, I found Iron, Aluminum, Beryllium and helium in a crater biome. Was I not supposed to be able to do this? 🤷🏻♂️
It will be picking it up from the surrounding biomes, the beacon radius is quite large
I think the biome and element associations vary from planet to planet.
When looking for the biome borders do yourself a favour and do it in daylight =p
And maybe not when there is a massive storm as well 😂
Theres not even a Zeta on my map
The game takes place in the far future and is all about exploration and something as basic as maps or a mapping mechanic doesn't exist, seems to me someone was Super lasy or selling it as an addon later come on Bethesda. WE NEED MAPS NOW

Sounds like you might be nice and deep in the froozen duuuunes, you are going to need to find where the biomes meet each other

It does take a while from time to time haha but if you are hitting the 7 mark, 8 will be hiding away in there some where

@@siftingsanta I always thought it was -kee, not -chee. Google seems to back this up, but I could be wrong.
Only problem with that planet is the conversion time 1 hours local = 33min UT (1 day = 13 UT hours). So the output of any resources will be very slow.
It may be slow but it still knocks out alot of resources in a single zone, which is hard enough in itself
It’s not just a small problem, it’s enough to totally eliminate this planet from contention
What happens if you build here and then sleep on a different planet with better conversion?
@@beefhammergaming7571yeah, seems like you can just go chill on Venus for a bit (which is good for an outpost anyway near a settlement for selling, they refill within an hour of waiting)
Issues with going to another planet lies with how the game works. You will have weight issues very quickly if you are farming do so the process of going to Venus definitely makes you his a tough sell . Also the number of resources or cool just make sure it matches what you want.

@@siftingsanta If you can't sell it in that amount of time, you've already lost everyone. Imagine how many people heard the same thing and dipped, without ever knowing what else was said. That's why video editing is important, and watching what you say. Its like wrapping up your video 3 minutes too early. say the wrong things, people think you are done, and they save themselves time listening to an outro. Same reason "next episode" exists, no one has the attention span for it, or cares to hear you say goodbye, I got what I needed. If i cant get what i need early, i'll find someone else who can.
