your burst macro is wrong you should be using your trinket before you use pillar because the trinket adds a static amount of strength, then pillar buffs your total strength by 20% instead of buffing by 20% then adding a static amount

Hey all that tip he said at the end about gripping people into rings and blade storms... DO IT! I was just in a 3's match with a warrior and mage and the mage puts up a ring while the warrior bursts and blade storms everyone scatters and i use gorefiends grasp and pulled em all back into ring and the warrior rapped em with his storm... it was kinda funny :D thx man for the tip! :D

Just wanted 2 answer youre question bout why even have crit in your sockets when you have procs: 1) you do have procs and they have 100% crit chance(obliterate proc) so if youre criting every chance you get then thts youre main power. 2) if you crit every second or 2 and you do good damage then why not increase it with crit sockets 2 make it even better K this is what I had in mind I have a frost dk and I have crit and strenght in sockets but overall I have more crit and so far its worked wonders
5s with a DK, Healer and 3 warriors. Run DnD glyph and Gorefiend's Grasp, DnD and grasp while all 3 warriors bladestorm, if they have a class that can leap out like druid, just grip them back in. Win :)
Wouldnt it be better to put Pillar of frost after trinket in the dps macro? so that you get a higher bonus% with the strenght from trinket? Or doesn't it mather?
Hey I have a question how you can make a burst and then 3 times obliterate? I mean the burst costs 1 frost rune so you have to less frost runes for 3 time obliterate? And thanks for the guide its great helped me a lot :)

I don't get the necrotic bit. It has no damage increase for targets at low health, and the heal absorb is so tiny, it's like it isn't even there. Why use it at all? Does (X) weapon damage and absorbs (x) healing is all the necrotic tooltip says more or less.
yeah its awesome, especially when someone really low just to prevent that healing so you can finish them off also good on healers to slow their casting and preventing selfheal if you want to burn a healer down

Ha, just my luck! I thought to start my Frost-DK again and relearn the spec and all I find on the internet is contradictory information. On Arena Junkies they have a guide up that recommends gemming haste not only over mastery, but over strength as well.

Ok sure, so yeah to answer your questions, basically you can keep your reforges from UH into frost. Its really not a damage loss at all, and saves you your gold. 2nd I recommend 2h over DW. I haven't seen any DKs really run DW mainly because obliterates hit for so hard right now. Lastly Necrotic Strikes are great in frost if used at the right time and with burst. Thanks for Watching!

One problem in your guide, Rime doesn't proc from auto-attacks, it procs from your Obliterate hits. Just a heads up ^^ Your "Killing Machine", which is the 100% Obliterate crit proc, procs from auto-attacks.

yes of course, i meant in case you have already used outbreak on a target or you switch to another one who is too far away to be inflicted with pestilence. In that case, it is always needed to have both diseases applied before you start the normal 2handed rotation, where obliterate is the master.
mastery>haste for bg rbg but for arena i prefer haste>mastery maybe even haste>crit for some huge soulreaper crits the reason i go haste>mastery is because you can sit in blood presence without any lack on runic generation on the other hand is mastery>haste nice against heavy armor classes plate, shadowpriest! in arena most of the time your in blood presence and losing 20% rune generation and frost strike cost 15 more runic power thats why i prefer haste over mastery for arena
ShankopotamusXD I studied a video of WoD footage that I posted on MMO - Champion Forum. (Mainly Blood). Death Strike (Blood Only) Now deals 196% Weapon Damage. From 259%. Heals you 30% of the damage received in the last 5 seconds from non - player sources of at least 5% of your maximum health. Would heal about 2% in PvP instead of 3% (like it is now). (Heal has been reduced). Horn of Winter No change, as much as I can see. But it seems to have NO CD. Just a global CD. (Not sure if it still generates Runic Power). Rune Strike Same as before, except now does 155% Weapon Damage. From 200%. Plague Strike Now does 75% Weapon Damage. From 100% Rune Tap No longer heals. Instead placed an absorb which scales with Attack Power AND Vengeance. Also, diseases will no longer grant bonus damage for certain abilities, like Blood Strike, Scourge Strike. Opinions for the Blood changes so far?

nice guide.. i play unholy but this is alot of great information.., i have one more macro for u.. saves me a bit of time in rbgs #showtooltip Gorefiend's Grasp /cast [nomod;@player] Gorefiend's Grasp /cast [mod=ctrl;@pet] Gorefiend's Grasp /cast [mod=alt;@] Gorefiend's Grasp this will let u get your gorefiends pull where and when u need it without having to lose your target. On your pet can be extraordinarily useful on maps like silvershard, move your pet to the back of the ring and give him a pull which will let u stay in the cart, or for pulling that meklee burst off your healer. And i personally like to have it macroed for a warrior on my rbg team so when he goes balls to the wall bladestorming i can drop that snare DnD and give hima pull to put out some serious hurt
Do a DW video. DW is different then 2h, you don't use Obliterate, you use necrotic strike and icy touch a lot more.Your preassure is more constant with less downtime and more sustained high damage, your damage is also unaffected by armor, and your frost strike and frost spells in general hits a lot more than 2h's frost strike and spells. DW > 2h
ive been playing UH since WotLK and i got to say its just been getting harder and harder to top the charts. now granted, i dont do much pvp but when i do its a tough situation to be in a lot of the time. hopefully WoD will finalyl fix the balance issues that have existed since blood became tank and frost became dps
Um, there are many things wrong in this video. Early on in the video you say "you get procs from your auto attacks which you can use your howling blasts on" which is entirely wrong. The procs you get from auto attacks are only used for obliterate and frost stike. The stat priority should also be haste>master=crit. Since your obliterate is the hardest hitting ability why wouldnt you want more of them with more haste? Also if you use your burst macro which would have Pillar of frost in it, you wont get 3 obliterates out since you will only have 2 frost runes to work with instead of 3. The spec you described is more of a DW spec which if your going to take Chillblains and go mastery why not just go dw pick up a razorice or cinderglacier rune as well as fallen crusader (dont take cinderglacier its proc rate is way too low) and howling blast the crap out of their team? You take out obliterate in that spec entirely since 2 howling blasts do more than 1 obliterate and your frost strike will do 50% more damage which is amplified by your mastery even further. The only bad thing is you have to be in blood presence to get the most out of the spec. The only thing i can see good about going mastery over haste is to kill plate wearers better since they are either constantly in blood presence or defensive stance.

the answer is simple, spam it until it stacks so much on them that they cant heal up again.

Do you need to hit plague strike at all in frost?
Naturally, if your target is not infected, instantly use the plague strike before you start obliterating him.

Um, there are many things wrong in this video. Early on in the video you say "you get procs from your auto attacks which you can use your howling blasts on" which is entirely wrong. The procs you get from auto attacks are only used for obliterate and frost stike. The stat priority should also be haste>master=crit. Since your obliterate is the hardest hitting ability why wouldnt you want more of them with more haste? Also if you use your burst macro which would have Pillar of frost in it, you wont get 3 obliterates out since you will only have 2 frost runes to work with instead of 3.
The spec you described is more of a DW spec which if your going to take Chillblains and go mastery why not just go dw pick up a razorice or cinderglacier rune as well as fallen crusader (dont take cinderglacier its proc rate is way too low) and howling blast the crap out of their team? You take out obliterate in that spec entirely since 2 howling blasts do more than 1 obliterate and your frost strike will do 50% more damage which is amplified by your mastery even further. The only bad thing is you have to be in blood presence to get the most out of the spec.
The only thing i can see good about going mastery over haste is to kill plate wearers better since they are either constantly in blood presence or defensive stance.

procs is a chance when you use skill, frost DK has proc 100% crit, so you dont need crit anymore :D
