    What a great video. I loved all the places and the editing.
    I was trying to do the math for what i saw, and (not including the cost of food) it looks incredibly inexpensive for an all evening date for two people.
    Maybe in the future you could put a rough estimate of the cost of the venues in the video description?

      Excellent suggestion! We’ll try to do that in future videos. In the mean time, here’s a rough idea of the costs (per person):
      * sushi lunch: 2,500 yen
      * hamarikyu entrance: 300 yen
      * boat ticket: 800 yen
      * beer on boat: 500 yen
      * beer tent: 2,500 yen
      So, that’s about 6,600 yen or $60 per person, but you can cut costs if you get booze from convenience stores or just don’t drink altogether. -Dustin

    Whoops! This was filmed in the winter, but all the tips still apply no matter what season you visit. Anyway, let us know how you like this new vlogy style of video ... and thanks for watching ;)

      I found myself checking the date stamp a couple times. lol.
      But, yes. I actually like both styles. I enjoy seeing places and what's unique about them, but also learning about the culture. I think each style has its pro's and con's for each type of information being delivered. I was actually hoping you guys would do these as well as your informational sit down vids.
      I remember when Japanese Journey started, he did (it seemed) a lot of sit down informational vids (which are great), and then transitioned into mostly the, go see places and things "vlogy" vids (which are also great).
      So I look forward to more of these and your sit down info videos as well.
      So, I have a (another, i know. lol) suggestion for a video topic. Would it be possible to get a video on the various accommodation types in Tokyo? Things like Hostels, capsule hotels, manga cafes, and hotels? Perhaps including what the advantages and disadvantages of each? Also, I wonder if various airbnb's would let you spend a night for free if you vlogged about the accommodations as a kind of review of them? I might even drum up business for them if people like what they see.
      I know others have done similar things, but a new perspective is ALWAYS good. :)

      Thanks for the comment! It’s ALWAYS great to have constructive feedback and suggestions. We’d still do sitting down talking head vids too like especially topics on the culture or language :)
      And thanks for the request! We’ll keep it in our topic idea note! -Akina

    Hama Rikyu gardens is the place to go. It felt not too crowded because the park is very big and i gotta try out the sky restaurants at Caretta Shiodome on the next trip. Mainly for the views ;) Haven't taken the boat to Asakusa yet but i saw it when i was there last time. I think it's a good idea to make more videos like this as well to show us spots in Tokyo. especially the not so touristy parts. Thanks Dustin And Akina 👍

      The Sky Restaurant has more choices such as Yakiniku and Izakaya. Even if you don’t eat, the view is available for free! “Looking is free, sir” ;) it was experiments attempt to do this but we’re glad it’s well accepted! - Akina
