So the backstory about Piltover and zaun and how they came to be is, long ago an ancient kingdom Shurima wanted to connect two oceans for better trade routes ( kind of like Suez canal) so they bombed the narrow land connecting two continents, but it damaged tactanic plates and so of the area literally sunk below sea level and the toxic gases from underearth filled the air, they eventually ended up creating the port (also called Sungate) and grew richer as the trade grew more and more. People living in top (upper class) became richer but the workers who built the port (undercity) became poor and lawless even. Air and rivers there still toxic there but the undercity people have grown to adopt while enforcers still need to use masks to breathe, river is so toxic no one would dare to dive below to find the lost loot. The Lane looks like a valley because of the same reason. They gave so much attention to details, one of the reasons why I love this show so much. ❤️
I know you are fan of Aot... But please stop bringing it everywhere.... They have watched Walking dead and it has lot more surprising deaths and tragedy compared to many other shows. They are not noobs, they have been watching shows from years and I have been following them for years...

There are over 100 characters in League and a whole world where they live in. A snowy continent, ninjas, demons, pirates and so much more. This show focuses on a few characters in a place called Piltover in the world Runeterra. There is so much they can do with this if it gets enough traction like a whole MCU but for League. I am so excited you guys are gonna love it

As of now we know about 3 continents: Valoran (Freljord, Demacia, most of the Noxus, some free territories), Shurima (Targon, Ixtal, Icathia, Shuriman Empire, some of the Noxus territories) and Ionia (Ionia itself plus some territories, controlled by Noxus). Piltover and Zaun are situated right at the isthmus between Valoran and Shurima. And there are some archipelagos, including Bilgewater and Shadow Isles (also Ionia might be considered archipelago as well). But there are probably more continents on Runeterra, which will be revealed when Riot will launch their MMO.

I’m happy you guys are going through this show, Arcane is nothing short of a masterpiece from the art style and animation, to the emotional depth and character development, to the political and social commentary. You’re going to watch this show and then want to read up all about LoL lore and the amazing part is, this small story centering around Vi and Powder is but a blip in the possible lore that Riot could explore in future seasons and/or separate shows.
Btw guys, this show was released in 3 acts and each has 3 episodes. They released 1 act every week for three weeks. Although this is my opinion, i think the first three episodes should be watched together or at least closeish to maintain the tempo of the pacing. Then wait a while and watch the next three, and so on. Idk but that's how we watched it when it was releasing and it served the story better (for reasons that I can't tell you about for spoilers)
