I just left CarMax right now. I've never bought/sold anything there before. They low balled the fuck out of me.
I have a '15 Genesis 5.0 fully loaded. I was at Hyundai three days ago and got offered $17k. I thought THAT was a low offer. Carmax offered $13,400.
I'll sell it on my own for far more.

When you cashed the check that Carmax gave you did you get the full amount instantly or did you only get a small portion and the full amount later into your account? In other words If I want to sell my car to Carmax could I buy a new car from another dealer in the same day or would I have to wait a few days?
The check has to clear your bank account, so it would take a few days
Question does anyone know how much a RAV4 trading it in will get me, the car goes form 20-27K so my dream car 18K the sicon 2013 would I be able to get that or nah it doesn’t work like that. If not how much could I profit for a RAV4 after paying it off

carmax bought my 2016 jetta with 20k miles just a few weeks ago for almost as much as a new one! I love them I even had body work done on the entire side of the car because I crashed it!
