So I bought an Intex Excursion Pro to try kayaking with my 12yo daughter. Tried to do the maiden at Lake Kachess a month ago but she had girl issues. We had to pack the whole trip early. But this week I got MIRACLE LUCKY to get a cabin at Ike Kinswa. We finally got the kayak out and this place was majestic! Even my daughter, who literally hates EVERYTHING, said it was "pretty fun" (which in her language these days, means it was better then Disneyland). If you're new to kayaking it's very chill. We launched at the swim park and went right up the Tilton River. Awesome trip. My only wish is that I did some fishing, but that might have been too much to ask of her.

Awesome paddle location! Thank you for sharing the date of filming as I was curious. The flowing water and lush greens had me thinking it was earlier in the year - will add this to next year's list! Thanks for your comment. Mayfield Lake is one of our favorites! Rivers and waterfalls should be nice and full this time of year. You may even be able to get further up the river than we did, without portaging. Have fun! Would love to get any updates you may have after your trip.

I went to camp their years ago a beautiful lake and area. I wonder about kayak fishing there.
