Mr.Oshiomhole is so verse and knowledgeable in governance,his explanations are understood, understandable and convincingly enough for the citizens to understand that this current economic hardship will ease off overtime .

From the perspective of development economics, it doesn't always work that way. Nigeria is still an undeveloped country which requires a strong and "HONEST" government to formulate and implement policies to drive overall growth. Deregulation without prior incentive to push growth is suicidal. Take the case of Nitel on one hand which was successful in the long-run due to its peculiarities at the time and on the other hand the cost of cement which still is expensive even though it is 100% produced here. Market forces are brutally efficient regardless of human livelihood and at what cost are you telling the poor masses to pay for the inefficiencies of a fundamentally flawed centre. History has always warned those who are willing to listen not to play hardline economics with people lives, just ask Hoover and Friedman...lol.

Channels and poor Audio are like 5&6 even the usual ads that pops out at intervals during the cause of the interview is very loud/audible, but the ad is over, volume reduces to almost nothing, their engineers should do something about this.

I enjoyed this conversation; although I’m not so convinced about his argument for cutting down the cost of governance; they appear to be soft and phlegmatic about it when in fact it must be treated with top priority and urgency along other economic policies being put in place by the new administration;
I also think it reflects poorly on the government to consider 8k as a viable benchmark for the proposed cash aid; they need to ask themselves if they can buy more than two meals for themselves with just 8k which they expect the individual to live by for a whole month; even worse is if it’s meant for a whole family. Plus, you’re not sure whether this will reach the intended beneficiaries. They also need to pick up speed with the implementation of the intervention packages, especially the procurement of mass transit vehicles and possibly upward review of the minimum wage.
