Very nice little ride there, mate. As for a local history ride, I’m up for it! I would enjoy it. I do love seeing and hearing about the countryside over there at every opportunity. It’s beautiful and your commentary is very informative.
I went through my basic training at Ft Knox Kentucky back in 1985. We had the Patton museum there. I remember visiting. I'm very interested in you sharing this.
Great tour of Stourport-on-Severn. Loving my CL the perfect explorer, shame about the weather, discovered my boots need re-proofing... Hopefully August will bring us a bit more of the dry stuff, take care.
Thanks for the comment , glad you're loving your CL .. the weather is a joke .. and I'm on a week off work at the moment ! .. oh well ...thanks for watching 👍
Yes please for Pattons point. Not very often my English heritage wife makes a cuppa and sits down to watch a U Tube vid that I have streamed onto the big screen. So well done on this. I’m being a bit sneaky cause I love to buy the CL. The bike looks fantastic
LOL ! .. that's wonderful , send my best wishes to your wife !! ... is she from the Stourport area I wonder? Rest assured I'm in the process of making the Pattons point video and have found other WW2 sites in the area that I will make video's about (I'll make sure to include lots of CL 500 action! ) ... Thanks again for watching👍
Great video and very informative about the local area you live in. We have sandstone on top of the chalk here in Kent and Sussex. Lots of buildings are made of it and there is the famous toad rock in Tunbridge Wells.
Hi Simon , That's interesting , I'm always amazed by sandstone buildings and how they last, It being such a soft material ! I rode past a 12th century sandstone church in a previous video . Thanks so much for watching 👍😊
Hi thanks for the question. No it's not a problem , check out this video where I demonstrate the exhaust heat question...ua-cam.com/video/GofSBoTQX5g/v-deo.html
@@WyreForestBiker Love the video by the way ❤ I'm from the U.S. and love learning about our friends across the pond! Beautiful country side you have. I don't know how I'd feel riding on your roads. Seems very narrow at some points. The roads here in the U.S. are a bit wider for our fat american butts!! 🤣I Would love to see Burlish Top where Gen. Patton made his speech! Anyways, stay safe out there friend! Two wheels down! 😀
WW11 is a good subject for a local history ride out vid with things like Drakelow Tunnels, Ribbesford House and Burlish Top etc. An interesting little ride around Stourport it has quite a lot of history but sadly not too much of it preserved which is a shame.
Hi Mike , you're quite right there are a few site's connected to war time as you say... I'll have to brush up on my history and maybe make it into a mini-series! ... I have connections through my dad with the D.Day landings so it would be an interesting project on a personal level ...Thanks for watching 👍

Unrelated question. Does the exhaust get hot at all. Could you put a roll pack in the back without it getting singed if touching?
