I mean, the 5 exalted damage amp at lvl 9-10 is actually pretty good. If you had a good combination of exalted units I think it was worth playing. 5 exalted early though, yeah probably trolling xd should be good now though, 2 exp per round from a trait is juicy
My cousin introduced me to this game in the middle of set 8.5 - he sent me a Mortdog Rundown video once and I was so lost. Now approaching 14.12 (set 11) and we both have reached Diamond IV and I now understand everything Mortdog said in this rundown! I love TFT
Given the state of Lissandra having her old loot chance back would feel better and it wouldn't really buff her since she already has trouble killing units on her own. Right now if you get a lissandra in choncc's treasure you are in a huge disadvante compared to the other 5 costs
I don’t really think it’s fair to say they “allowed” the bug. The only report I’ve seen of someone mentioning it was a Reddit post with two upvotes from 2 months ago, so I don’t really blame the devs at all if all the players during that time didn’t even notice either.
@@omairdurrani1the bug only affected people playing it way backline. Whereas most regions played it 2nd row clumped up with all the other behemoths with sage so it wasn’t noticed as much. Which is why it was probably hard to notice
@@BlanekdCheque that is a valid point im sure the devs would have solved it sooner if it was spotted sooner but i feel like given the description of what the behemoth trait does, its a big oversight to begin with. Youre telling me they didnt once see what happened in testing? Based on the bug description, all it would take was having 2/3 behemoth units spread apart on the board to see if it was working as intended
What's the interaction between the new 5-exalted and the Venerable Piggy Bank? If you have 5-exalted, does it still only give 2gold instead of the exp, or does it give 4gold? (Not counting the Loss gold)
Hey Mort, pretty good change overall. If possible, can some of the support item pairings for vendor sentinels or the prismatic dummy be reworked to be prevented? It feels pretty bad getting a pair of items like Spite and Needlessly Big Gem, there are other things like legion with zekes/locket/chalice (this is still fine), but nothing as egregious as the previous combo where it feel like you're down a portal/augment.
Wouldn't be surprised to see boiling point at a 3.9. The only reason it was so god awful was that you didn't actually get Porcelain when you took it, so the augment just did nothing until you hit one specific 3-cost. Now you get the trait, plus one of the best stage 2/3 units in the game (and effectively 3 gold) right away, so you can actually play stage 2.
@@AIpuchino The augment now gives one of the best stage 2 units in the game, and is playable on stage 2. It's main line was always Lux reroll, and Lux got significantly buffed as well, at 2* and 3* specifically. So yes, I think it could.
Can you maybe buff fortune 7 again for the end if the set? It's just so underwhelming in my opinion for a gamble trait that you almost never hit 7 or more
Please B-patch revert Snipers, Naut, and Duelist after those lines are a 4.65 in challenger. This is actually a great patch, except gutting those two lines just makes it so much narrower than it could be.
This balance team is so clueless. They just buff revert the same exact thing. Yone was broken at .9 as, so we gut him to .85, and then just put him back? Same with everyone else - just buffing/nerfing and reverting because it was bad. Where's the set 10 balance team? I want the set 11 trait web designers and the set 10 balance team.

I've never ever in my life played a game where changes like this get reverted back and forth, a game of high and low its just so stupid. The more you get competitive at this game or any game, the more you see how stupid and frusrating it is lol. They just need to apply changes, let it sit and actually make useful adjustments. It's not that hard. It's almost like the people don't play the game, and if they do, it's a very low level which isnt helpful.
Tbh good patch yet again but warden sniper still god tier. 1% nerf whilst Senna buff negates it. Yesterday I had someone in my lobby who had practically full team of 2 star 5 costs and lost to a warden sniper with 1 star naut and 1 star ashe. Like a harder nerf is needed. The comp is far too easy to stabilize and get top 4 with
They nerfed Long Shot, they nerfed 4 AND 6 sniper, they nerfed Nautilus HP. They also buffed reapers which counters Ashe? Not sure what you meant by this
@WeR2VEVO the problem isn't everything around ash... the problem is ash... before people played 4 sniper 4 warden they played ash Lilia... so with the nerf they will go back to that with a better Lilia targeting... you can nerf everything around ash... and it will still be S tier... ash is the problem...
@@WeR2VEVO i mean, nerfing long shot doesnt really do anything. 9/10 times you play ashe, you aren't even running that augment and she's still compatible. I don't think 4 reapers counters ashe, but I'd say yone can counter ashe or any adc. If anything the bleed/wound reapers provide can hurt amumu/illaois redemption or healing capabilities but other than that, kayn gets stuck on your tank and it's gg if you've tempod correctly and have ashe 2 with good items.
This set added so many new things it was hard to keep up unless you google some guide. I used to just play the game as it was with no external help needed
Nerfing spite is crazy. Its already so bad if you get it randomly on a support portal you just wanna ff, nerfing it because now it can "stack" is crazy, youre gonna get 2 spites like one in 100 games. 10-15 duration is irrelevant when it only hits frontline and if their frontline are still alive 10 secs after it procs you were losing the fight regardless. ESPECIALLY now with how heavily nerfed it got.
They made a huuuuge mistake by adding 20-30 artifacts at the same patch, should just split it up and add new items slowly... Like come on... you made 30 items for fun but who will actually balance them ? ? Some of them average 5.0 when some of them average 4.0 such a shame. And yes when you have a choice of artifacts and here 4 bad ones on your list you just give up for good place sadly
@@free57812 i kinda disagree in saying it was a mistake, like i agree competetively and balance wise it was not the greatest idea, but i do really enjoy the variety that exists now and the fun combos you can semi regularly do, its just that youd think by now they would at least balance it somewhat, at least buff the unusable ones.
Cant wait to play more riven reroll builds its really fun and satisfying but she kinna fall off late game and you really need to rely on hitting all your altruist and sages for life steal this buff should make riven more playable but not so op
watch pros, learn from mistakes. Takes time, need to play a lot and get out your comfort zone. Try comps you've never played and if you fuck up learn why and win the next one
nothing about stability? After 14.11 tft ping spiked insanely high while league stayed the same (400+ vs 4 ms). No matter what I did ping was unplayably high and it only happened to tft
Probably yes. They only ever have 1 special mode live at a time, and Pengu's Party is coming up. Pengu's Party is a banger though, I think you'll like it as much as Choncc
Thats a small part of it .. all they really need to do is change the tome chance back to 40 from 20. They also changed the luck received stage 3 making it incredibly hard to get in between 30-40. I have over 300 games of fortune
@@pepperonipizza6357Because Fortune is an econ trait. It shouldn’t be winning games as a final comp. It should be used to transition into other comps after you cash out, most usually trickshot. So the bad placement of fortune is because people have died before the transition. If they win after, it shows as a trickshot win, not a fortune one. And fortune is far from weak, you watch any pro tournament lobby, likely at least one player is playing fortune. That’s enough. Old 7 fortune was the stupidest thing ever. I’ve been playing by since set 3 and never once got a 3* 5 cost that I can remember. In ranked lobbies anyway, not for fun normal lobbies. I had a fortune 7 game this set where I got 4 3* 5 costs in the same game. How did I do it? Get lucky and roll fortune on trainer sentinels and then get lucky and get fortune crest as augment and by stage 3-2 I had 7 fortune and won automatically, regardless of winning or losing any fight
After played 10 patches of Heartsteel domination in Set 10 and Half of Set 11 Fortune domination, I can tell you its correct to make ppl forget about gamble a bit, hope it will be bad for half a year at least
How can 5 exalted be good early since most of the options have 4 and 5 star champs? Also those Riven and Soraka buffs will really help altruism which was already a pretty popular trait. No one really plays Soraka 3 because people use her for Dragonlord, Heavenly Sage and Altruist builds so it's hard to get her to 3 with her being contested and the bag size. There's also a bug where you get the 0.5 attack speed artifact from blacksmith's gloves and that champ will keep the 0.5 attack speed in the future battles unless you bench and redeploy them. I've also had that 0.5 attack speed artifact roll twice on the same gloves...
How is 8 Ghostly not buffed. It's still a joke. It better to use the two swords and spatulas to craft a deathblade and tactician's crown than get 8 Ghostly. I don't think that's what you want to happen.
I hope they rethink about removing current traits and adding new ones next set. I don't wanna face warden ashe, zyra ghostly and other meta comps every game. Also, I noticed that only a small amount of reroll comps work for this set as everyone is going fast 9 which is quite underwhelming. For this set, if I get a champion augment, it's a guarantee top 4. I started playing tft since set 6 and I have never disliked any other set like this. I feel like this set is way too grounded to my liking. I don't think I'm the only one that feels this way.

Duelist was nerfed but you're right maybe they could've toned down Lee Sin specifically. Although he is only really played as a carry with 6-8 duelist so he is nerfed.
Found the person who scrubbed the video without listening. Mort: we aren't really nerfing a lot of the strong stuff, but buffing others to hopefully open up more pathways If you are going to watch UA-cam stuff about video games, at least pay attention so you aren't wasting your time.
Explain to me if this makes sense, NO ONE was chosing spite because it sucks, now you're nerfing it and then you're saying that now we need two to have almost the same reduction on enemy team? sure the dmg increase is good if you have 2 but now you're using just half of an artifact...
They buff duration to compensate the nerf. And the ability to stack is a buff itself. But as he said Spite needs rework and still almost unplayable unless by some chance you got 2 of them.

@@Maztaimm na not a good item it needs 2 perfect items that are the 2 hardest to build. liss can cc a unit a long time with no items, sett too and can repositionate and stack adk, same with udyr who also is able to revive and then theres wukong thats a camouflaged riven 2
This is the first set I've quit playing. I love this game, but I just can't enjoy this set. It feels so boring, uninspring and random at the same time. 12 Set have to be better.

Duelist was nerfed but you're right maybe they could've toned down Lee Sin specifically. Although he is only really played as a carry with 6-8 duelist so he is nerfed.

Explain to me if this makes sense, NO ONE was chosing spite because it sucks, now you're nerfing it and then you're saying that now we need two to have almost the same reduction on enemy team? sure the dmg increase is good if you have 2 but now you're using just half of an artifact...
They buff duration to compensate the nerf. And the ability to stack is a buff itself. But as he said Spite needs rework and still almost unplayable unless by some chance you got 2 of them.

usually 4 bruiser/warden + 4ts + 1 synergy bot or the bard/nunu comp at 9 4 ts strong ther too

liss worst 5 cost? mort wukong is useless since the set started ik hes traits are broken but the champ is way too weak
if you ever get a talisman of ascension, go 7 heavenly wukong and put it on him, guaranteed 1st place. Im 6-0 with Talisman cuz of it.

@@Maztaimm na not a good item it needs 2 perfect items that are the 2 hardest to build. liss can cc a unit a long time with no items, sett too and can repositionate and stack adk, same with udyr who also is able to revive and then theres wukong thats a camouflaged riven 2

This is the first set I've quit playing. I love this game, but I just can't enjoy this set. It feels so boring, uninspring and random at the same time. 12 Set have to be better.
