Hey, the difficulty is MODERATE... basically, you have to focus on linear algebra which includes MATRICES, DIFFERENTIATION & INTEGRATION is required. Moreover, STATISTICS is a must for results interpretation... Actually, for the machine learning approach in bioinformatics, you should focus more on LINEAR ALGEBRA. hope I was very much clear ... I've gone thru some colleges but unfortunately in INDIA, I don't think they take BPT students for MSc bioinformatics... Do TRY... diploma/crash courses available in India plus try Europe for MS in Bioinformatics.. there you have got a high chance in Europe. All the Best

Yes you can do but the subject won't be that familiar you need to study really hard and understand the tech involved in bioinfo
