By the time you faced them, they just started playing JQ and got on a 3 games loss streak which happens to the best. There's a good chance that you have temporarily had a 1% win rate on your main at some point because literally all it takes is losing your first comp game of the season.

I played against a doomfist in like a plat lobby and he was actually pretty good, but his teammates wrote after the match "Doom wouldn't swap gg report and avoid" not only was the doom not the issue on their team, it's not reportable to not swap heroes when you're asked. People are such fucking babies in this game

I miss the days I could check to see my opponents ranks. Especially now that it feels like I'm either queued against bots or Top 500. I miss being able to see if I was either playing bad or the enemies were just better than me.
According to overwatch2 I'm silver 3 tank, gold 1 damage, gold 5 support silver 1 open queue and over watch2 says I have 0 hours in comp. I've atleast played 80+ games in all queues, no way I have 0 hours 0 games in comp but still placed.
I wouldn't trust the stat screen. One of my heroes has a win rate of 250% with more games won than games played. I haven't really been tracking my wins and losses but I'm pretty sure that one's wrong in the game.

2:07 I feel your pain, Flats. Every time I'm having fun on winston, someone just swaps reaper and it's basically over. If the reaper player sucks though you can get away with it. That said though, reaper is a pretty tough hero to mess up, so that hardly ever happens. You could have 20mins your entire career on reaper and you'd probably still be able to to shut down a winston pretty well
Throughout OW1's lifetime in gold/plat I could consistently beat reapers as winston cause they're too smooth brain to understand how bubble dancing works. First time I played against someone who just barrel stuffed me was extremely eye opening. Now I too live in constant fear.

So I uninstalled overwatch twice this season bc I wasn't having fun I've been trying to play bastion and it just doesn't go well at all but Ive only placed diamond in tdm and never got above plat1 when I played( I stopped during goats) I've always believed I was top 500 material (on console don't have a PC yet) but after relearning the game and watch a bunch of your vids I'm just sojourn diffing my way back through gold and plat it's kinda hilarious tbh bc everyone's starting to play her but not one person in gold have the mechanical skill to consistently hit rail even body shot but here I am clearing points with 5 man head shots 🤣 I can't wait for this character to get half of brig's treatment

I've been playing ball in gold, and i had all of those in one game, it's flattering really. means you're doing well enough that they all think you're the biggest problem haha. i think you can usually ignore one, or two counters to him if you watch for cooldowns, most hogs don't have good hook discipline they'll use it off cooldown and forget to use it on you. then you have a 8 sec window to do whatever. Mei and orisa are hell though. I feel bad for people who play winston though, he's countered by just one character. HARD.

I'd say, just watch the roadhog or w/e. wait until they move out of position, or waste their CD (Which they will) because everyone down here just spams CD's and doesn't think about positioning much. It's worked for me so far. I've only had to swap off like 3 times in 30 games of ball? because they picked 3 counters lol. I'm sure it'd be different in Plat+ though.
as of now i dont really like hog. not sure but there seems like a glitch to me. i cant kill with shoot,hook,shoot, melee. it started for me after the update that released mei.. even moira survives that combo. tried aiming for a headshot. cant kill. aiming for the body still cant. and no one is even healing them. had a 80% win rate with hog on competetive. crashed to 44 after that update.no idea what they did or why im the only one feeling that shit happening.
Hook, don't move crosshair, one step forward, shoot, melee. It works most of the time but if they receive any healing during that you won't get the kill.

I heard that somewhere before but idk if that's confirmed or not. One other thing to consider is if Patrick Star had a "draw" on any of their matches, because that also affects your winrate.

I'm new to ow2 and ow as a whole and mu first ranked experience was a masters game where everybody was communicating and I didn't know how to turn my mic on and everyone was mad at me for underperforming. Now I sit comfortably in gold after 20 losses lol

My Tank is Gold 4, so i was mostly playing it in silver.
I'd say, just watch the roadhog or w/e. wait until they move out of position, or waste their CD (Which they will) because everyone down here just spams CD's and doesn't think about positioning much.
It's worked for me so far.
I've only had to swap off like 3 times in 30 games of ball? because they picked 3 counters lol.
I'm sure it'd be different in Plat+ though.

as of now i dont really like hog. not sure but there seems like a glitch to me. i cant kill with shoot,hook,shoot, melee. it started for me after the update that released mei.. even moira survives that combo. tried aiming for a headshot. cant kill. aiming for the body still cant. and no one is even healing them. had a 80% win rate with hog on competetive. crashed to 44 after that update.no idea what they did or why im the only one feeling that shit happening.
Hook, don't move crosshair, one step forward, shoot, melee. It works most of the time but if they receive any healing during that you won't get the kill.
@@youdungoofed1 Horrible advice. You dont want to queue actions after the hook, thats how you hook people and they just walk away.

@@ieatplastic1756 I could be wrong, but I think winrates are calculated based on the amount of rounds you won as said hero, not games. I heard that somewhere before but idk if that's confirmed or not. One other thing to consider is if Patrick Star had a "draw" on any of their matches, because that also affects your winrate.

@@masift1494 that doesn’t make sense either, the JQ would have had to play 100 rounds in 4 games to have a 1% win. I think it’s more likely it’s time played on a game that you won. He played JQ for a minute and swapped, then won.

I'm new to ow2 and ow as a whole and mu first ranked experience was a masters game where everybody was communicating and I didn't know how to turn my mic on and everyone was mad at me for underperforming. Now I sit comfortably in gold after 20 losses lol
