Around 6:35 mark you said you were lazy with the iron right next to you.
Why, Ms. Darlene, you are not lazy. You're efficient.

That paper was a great idea! It was so cool how you could automatically see exactly what you needed to get the block filled in where you need to.Thanks for sharing all you're learning as you make what is going to be such a fabulous quilt!

Almost mid nite here in California. Thank you once again great fun video.
So clever laying crumb on a piece of paper to square it up I would of never
thought of that. Thanks Darlene once again you Rock🌺

Pat here...thank you Darlene. I love the look of Crumb Quilting...sort of stain glass art. For me, using the paper really helped me to visualize.

Hi Darlene! This is just to say that you saved my sanity with these crumbs! I had put away my crazy quilt because I had started to hate all the fabric that I had. I was just stuck!! I had two blocks half finished and just couldn't face them, and yet I didn't want to start another block and get stalled too. Watching these videos showed me what to do: crumbs sewn onto strips and incorporated into the mix! I realise now the pieces I was working on were too regular, too dull in concept. Crumbing helps make the quilt crazier, and the quilter less so!

Your paper 'pattern / measuring' tool was genius. You can also use it to see what size rough block you need.

"That was probably useless" bwah ha ha You had me rollin' with that! I started a crumb quilt but the only crumbs / scraps I have are from the Christmas fabric that I bought from you on ebay. So what did I have to do? Buy one lot each of the fat eights and long quarters, of course! 👍

The drawing of the square was such a great reference. It really helps with visualizing what direction to be going in. 4:00 am viewing of your block as I awoke to put my dog out and you had just recently posted so of course I had to watch it. Curiosity is killing me.... How many blocks before you put it all together??
