Fin Whale - EP4: Hanging The Whale Skeleton

The final step towards restoration of this giant skeleton
Fin Whale Skeleton - (Balaenoptera Physalus) nearly 18 meters long and total bones weight around 1 ton
After a year of hard work on restoring the bones and planning the the display and the methods for hanging this massive skeleton.
it took us about 3 months to complete the hanging of this specimen
00:23 - moving the bones
1:10 - connecting vertebrae
2:35 - hanging the spine in the air
3:20 - hanging Chevrons
4:00 - Skull
6:08 - Ribs
7:10 - Flippers
7:55 - Complete Whale
