That EIS artifacts on the Pixel make it unusable for me even if it was brighter and more detailed after video boost. Keeping in my that you can almost buy two Pocket 3's for the price of one Pixel 8 Pro, I would definitely take the Pocket 3.
The Electrical Image stabilization artifacts on Video Boost footage are not good enough to be honest. The fact that it is not available at 4K 60 though (4k 30 is it's limit) is Deal Breaker territory. I notice how all the Pixel plugging channels conveniently avoided mentioning this key point. And how it can make boosted daylight footage look flat and bland.
Yeah, these artifacts are always and eye sore for me when it comes to smartphone videos at night. I can live with it being 30fps generally, but can understand if that's a deal breaker to some. Still impressed by how the rest is getting improved with video boost though tbh.
@@alischan I hope a future software brings the ability to Boost 4K 60 on the Pixel 8 Pro. This would be a serious upgrade, as 4K 60 is so popular with many people.
Check out how the Osmo Pocket compares against the iPhone 15 Pro Max and Galaxy S23 Ultra ua-cam.com/video/V5a-uQS1xuk/v-deo.html
DJI produces no question, the better video.
The Pixel did well, but only by smartphone standards
Wiedereinmal einfach top!! Vielen Dank für deine Arbeit! ❤

Pixel 8 pro needs
DJI gimbal 6
especially for night it would make a huge difference

Meanwhile both the Moto Edge+2023 and Lenovo ThinkPhone both have 4K 30/60fps options.
@@jevonsims900 The Pixel 8 Pro can do it too, but not while using this Video Boost feature.
