Add one more notification after 15 yrs you can draw 60 percent of your amount & you can continue your account for 5 more yrs

I extended my contribution for 5 years. On 19th year I want to close. Can I do it without giving any penalty? Bank is telling you can not withdraw the amount before closing of the extension period. What is the rule? Can we close anytime after 15 years, inside extension period?

I think better we already locked interest rate and make secure as PPF and bank rate both decline day by day. Invest into Jeevan umang where 8 percent lifetime guranted return tax free

Its all on your own.. but if you don't need the money then leave it and enjoy the compounding effect with extension

Hello Sir, my ppf account got matured on June 2021 but when I went to the post office to close my account and withdraw the amount, I was told that the account had been auto extended to March, 2022 . The money can be withdrawn only after 31st March, 2022 and I have to withdraw with in 2 days after that.
Please tell me if right info was given by post office or I should follow any other steps to get my money.
Please don't withdraw , extend it for 5yr, you will get interest as much as of 15yr. But you are in emergency of need of money,then take loan or withdraw

Sir Can We open Two PPF
In case of monthly deposit,interest will be paid on monthly deposit for the current yr also or interest will be paid only on the accumulated balance on 31st March of the the previous year.
Generally the amount is deposited only in one/two installments.
