I think improving vocab is always a good idea. Becoming good at tests is a clever strategy because it can help you get into the college of your dreams. But the typical person won't use most of what is tested in their future life. The sad thing is that many super intelligent people are not good at tests. The good thing is that they can learn to play the game. Vocab on the other hand is a gift for life.

Amazing discussion between the two perfect scorers. Sir Philip you're the best. I've been preparing for the GRE for a month and I've benefited a lot from your quant and vocab tutorials. The way you explain the words in your vocab videos help me memorize words much easier. Your quant videos are much beneficial. Keep up the good work.

      Hello Basani,
Thanks for the appreciation. Yup, students need to understand how the GRE scoring works. There is considerable breathing space as far as the GRE scoring algorithm is concerned.

Does bad verbal score affect too much for MS program in Germany , I got good score in maths with 167 .

I can understand getting the math but how does someone get all the verbal parts correct? There is just no way someone can know all the vocabulary.
