    Thank you for making this; your manual is fantastic, but on more tired days, video content feeding the info is great lol
    Really great explanation of the cables and approaches to take, made setup easy

    Hello, thanks for this video ! Is it possible to put the sensors on the left and right sides of the screen instead of top and bottom ?

      I was wondering the same as I just purchased mine. I did a quick play and the game worked as should so far having just the 2 sensors on the bottom. I'm not sure if it's entirely necessary for 4 since the previous sensors were only 2

    Hi! Rookie Q here: Will Retro Shooter work on a 120in Projector Screen? I have a Viewsonic Faux 4K projector in my game room and would like to add this system. Thanks!

    Thanks for the vid mate. I got a 43 inch screen and at this moment I only got the 2 sensors stuck to the top of my monitor. They're not IR but the bulkier sensors, which are probably the original ones. I downloaded the Retro Shooter calibration software, opened the application, was able to perfectly carry out the calibration, shooting the I believe 4 points on the screen. I exited the tool, am back on my desktop but for some reason the aiming is way off, in fact I'm barely able to even see my mouse pointer. So did I do something wrong, or do I in fact require 4 sensors? PS I'm borrowing these guns from a friend to test some things out for him. He's got the other 2 sensors, so there are 4, but do I need all 4 to carry out a succesful calibration? Thanks!!

    Are the cables on the sensors long enough to fit a 77" TV? Also how far away do I have to be from the TV for proper tracking?

    Hi!
    Sorry for my average English. I would like to buy the rretro-shooter, but i've a TV led without USB port in the back (old generation), I assume that I can connect the sensors to another USB source? (PC, box etc...) Thanks in advance to you

    I live in italy. You guys gave the right 12v plug adapter but i think the main board was the wrong voltage because it just blew after an hour. I'm hoping it's just the 12v plug adapter that blew and not the main board...

    is it possible to get guns and sensors without Pandora box? It's a little underpowered for PS2 games which is my main target and I already have a decent gaming PC.

    I ordered the MX24 riffle. Does it come with sensors?

    • @theretroshooter
      @theretroshooter  7 місяців тому

      No, you would have needed to add them to your order unless you purchased one of the packages on retroshooter.com/mx24-consoles-pre

    I finally got my 4 sensor upgrade pack installed. Guns working good, and I got all four of the low-profile sensors working now. Very simple and easy upgrade 😀
    It does feel like it's still a little jumpy and loses tracking though. Like it's hard to hit corner shots and such even after calibrating a few different times and different angles.
    I think it's because I'm too close to my machine still. I'm about 3 1/2 feet back.
    Can I still use the fisheye Lense attachment with the four-sensor setup, or would that make it worse?

    • @theretroshooter
      @theretroshooter  6 місяців тому +1

      That sounds too close. Try the lens on the tip of the gun see if that helps. Try with all lights off in the room as well, then turn on one by one to see if one of the lights is affecting it, anything that emits light.

    • @jinchoung
      @jinchoung 6 місяців тому

      wait - those aren't SENSORS are they? they're just infrared LEDs? that the camera in the gun uses to orient and track?

    • @theretroshooter
      @theretroshooter  6 місяців тому

      @@jinchoung Yup, but many people call them sensors. They are LED IR lights.
