Hey, nice videos! I am also based in Socal and trying to catch lobster for the first time. All the times I've gone, the visibility and current has been terrible. I was wondering, what apps/websites do you use to check for conditions, and how can you tell when it will be good for diving?
Appreciate the kind words and welcome to the fun journey of trying to grab your first bug. I typically use Surfline and look for conditions. I look for surf to be lower than 2ft and winds low. I would also suggest you check forums, and groups to see if anyone shares their recent experience.
been watching a lot of your videos lately and honestly, it made me want to try a new hobby. ive only gone once, but i hope to catch atleast 1 bug before the season ends 🦞
I appreciate the kind words and I am glad you got the itch! If you are planning on diving at night, just make sure you try to dive where you are familiar with the terrain. And of course have lights and most importantly a dive buddy. Happy hunting!
Love the stats breakdown, you should get a scoreboard going for each time you go
Glad you enjoy the stats! Thanks for the support
