I have blood clots in my lungs. Something to do with my Ddimer (sp) was found while I was in the icu with Covid. Currently on Blood thinners now for approx 5 months.
Sorry to hear that Tracy. Yes blood clots can be suspected in cases of elevated Ddimers. COVID can definitely provoke clots. The duration of therapy depends on the cause of the clots, as well as if it’s recurrent or a first time occurrence. Hope you feel better.
