Everywhere Tip is there and they are forcing if we didn't give. Except Gondola they dont have proper rates. Everywhere We needs to bargain. If things goes like people will avoid kashmir. Yes we had same experience with taxi driver .He said don't go to pahalgam its far and too much traffic jam. Taxi union does not allow taxi after a point.Everyone asks for tip even after paying so much.

Secondly, I myself work with a travel agency as a tour operator, and experiences like this really do impact the entire tourism industry. But there are good and bad people everywhere. Sometimes, clients tell me, "Ma'am, we are getting this package at a lower rate from another travel agency." My only concern is to make sure that they check properly to avoid any scammers and not to feel pressured. In short, thorough checking is necessary. I had never heard of cab drivers doing this in my work place as it will impact their salary also and not possible to create an itinerary according to the client🤔. If you are going to Pahalgam try to avoid horse ride or any kind of animal ride for any view. Same for Sonmarg. As per places I shared all imp places to visit there in other videos but I am telling you to avoid animal ride because it is completely unnecessary and worthless.
I dont know how you got scammed for the pahalgam hotel. Once you book the package the hotel confirmation is given in well advance. They cant change the hotel 😬😬

We went this month with family including two children less than 5 years. I thought the trip would be challenging after looking few such videos but it was a decent experience. I will just put my points. 1) Travel agency was nice 2) Accomodation was average but had no major issues 3) Places and points are obviously very scenic and absolutely worth going. 4) People at tourist places did want to sell their services but not too much bothersome and would leave if politely refused. 5) We had two Cab drivers and one in Pahalgam from their taxi union - all were genuine and nice. No problem. If someone is wanting to visit, go positively and enjoy the nature and the people.
