Since I saw the first trailer months ago, it has been my anticapated game for the next year. I hope it does well, so square enix finally starts doing more turn-based Final Fantasy games.
by the gods, this is stunningly beautiful. and can those gods throw me a bone and make this...coop?? i cant even imagine my bro and i running through this world. regardless, it looks incredible. never heard of it until your video here.
So basically in their world there is this person being, entity known as the paintress every year she 🎨 a number on a monolith and anyone or everyone of that age dies by turning into dust and fading away, expedition 33 and many before them are trying to reach the paintress location and stop her, also the name "Clair Obscure" referes to a type of old french painting style.
Maannnn its one of those games that you know is gonna be one hell of a ride. Everything from the sound design, music, atmosphere, art style, etc just carries you away.
Looks pretty intense on every level from the visual/audio beauty to the very welcomed turn based combat as i breathed a sigh of relief it was not a real time Soul's style rpg. Definitely a dream like experience in the making. Thanks for the great preview and have a fun weekend ☕
This is gonna be the first turn-based RPG I have played since Child of Light - how ironic it's another French studio. That giant robot must be the first boss cause dude pounded the party for 27 hehe.
Also the hair physics in the cinematics are insanely good. The characters look so close to being real. Edit: Oh yeah. This game is going to win some awards. The creativity on display in visuals, soundtrack, and voice performances are insane for just a few minutes of gameplay. Wow.
Voice cast is great Dare Devil Shadowheart Gollum and Clive? Sign me the fuck up Also it’s been insanely long for a realistic turn based jrpg the only one that comes to mind is Lost Odyssey.
Dang the moment I heard you say turn base, I threw up a little 🤢🤮 🫤. I hope it's the new FF7 type of turn base, I can at least stomach it hard to tell when devs are playing. Based on what we see here, devs are playing extra slow and breaking immersion. Almost giving that mobile game combat mechanic. It's not bad when done well like honkai and ff7. It looks so good though.

It's looking good!
It’s so good to see a proper resurgence of the turn-based genre with many creative titles
Absolutely!
Every trailer of this gets me more hyped. The music reminding me so much of Nier which is a great thing.
It's looking pretty awesome!

Dare Devil Shadowheart Gollum and Clive?
Sign me the fuck up
Also it’s been insanely long for a realistic turn based jrpg the only one that comes to mind is Lost Odyssey.
Also it nails everything so perfect
The music is extremely based and that hooked me from the moment it’s up there with the Lies of P soundtrack tbh.
Am soooooo freaking excited

I love everything so far I hope the best for this studio because they really cooked with what I’ve seen so far!
This game looks amazing. There is no convincing me it won't be absolutely fantastic.
I agree!
A must play for me as well.
Yeah!
What final fantasy should’ve been 😮
Too much FF style for me, looks good though.
Gonna be a blast
Seems like a quality game, but I don't like the aesthetic.
/shrug art is subjective so up to you
