I remember this conference. Tough times for Sony but they pulled through. I remember being so exciting every tuesday cause that was when the psn store was getting updated with new content. haha, man how fast time goes by.
2007-2010 were the golden years of gaming…for me at least. Met my first serious boyfriend in PS HOME and met a solid group of friends in little big planet, mod nation racers, COD world at war and so much more. If a Time Machine is invented I’m going back to this time for sure. E3 was a major event that I would wake up early to watch live, get excited for the new games as I’d watch the exclusive trailers/gameplay with all my favorite snacks. Miss these times so much!
I remember the fuck out of my reaction to the Killzone Gameplay. "OOOOOOHHH SHIIIIT!!!!!" Somethin like that. And it was a fantastic game after they added the pricision option to the controller sensitivity. Easily one of the all time greats.
This particular PlayStation E3 and the 2013 edition are SCEI at its finest: the most memorable game reveals and general excitement in the air stole the show.
So I entered the video and clicked random at the timeline. I think I clicked on 56:20... I see a bunch of zombies, violent stuff suspenseful music and then, in a seriously creepy woman voice: "Burnout Paradise" . I know it was RE5, but it was kind of hilarious. BTW... What a shitty conference :v
Agree, it was shit-tier Sony back then: "You can only do this on PS3". Shooters, bragging about graphics over the competition, meanwhile at MS conference in 2006 it was games of all kinds and big JRPGs from Sakaguchi. Ever since they moved their conference to Colloseum at E3 in 2004 everything started to become boring on their conferences when they used to be filled with games without breaks. This year they will move out of the cocky place to something more smaller that fits for a gaming focus conference. TGS keynote 2015 was well-paced with announcements, did never got boring until in the end with indies. Last year was good but I'm glad they are having a conference in a smaller place than Colloseum.
