This is great to have for free, but it's the same thing each year. Next time, if possible, could we get the audio sorted out, let the cars go one at a time and have a running scoreboard on screen?
Both the audio and the popup boxes are a mess.
They don't have the time to do individual runs.
If the cars were let out individually it would take all day and night for them all to get the runs out, so it's a tricky situation
Good point. Sure something could be done about a scoreboard though
Joe Greenhalgh they could certainly remove a whole lot of the normal cars så the shoot final is better covered
1) How difficult would it be to schedule non-simultaneous runs ... Doesn't each car deserve its own FULL coverage for 50seconds?
2) Lacking that, could your vfx manager at least be consistent with the time display? Can the commentators announce the time if they have access to that info?
What's the point of the shootout if we don't keep track of all the times?
Ayman B. Couldn’t agree more, I think the layout is slightly different here though, they usually do the runs from slowest to fastest, this seemed more bunched up/ mixed.
i should say its free so we can't complain but yes this couldve gone a whole lot better, now its just fast runs with no info whatsoever and only half the run on video.. i hope we can still get a full version with timings and full runs as the cameras should have filmed whole runs right?
That and lose the god damn video "click here" squares from the outro which overlap into the footage!
This particular video doesn't have it but most of the others with the singular car performing the run do! And it is seriously annoying, if you have a 5 second outro, that is long enough time for those cards, blending it into the video footage just detracts from the quality!

Shouldn’t be labelled a shootout! One car at a time, the time should be shown at the end of the climb, and please for the love of god show the correct car model to the one on screen smh

A lot of manufacturers don't want there times shown.
This is how the timed runs are done at FOS cars let loose 30 seconds apart, and you've only got one screen,sand multiple cars on the hill at the same time
They skip cars 1 out of 3 times, been going on for years.

I think it's an issue with the mic picking up more than it should. John Watson has commentated on racing for decades and raced in F1 before that, among some other disciplines.

I think it's literally just 'Maserati-Corse/Corsa' which essentially just means it's developed with a bias towards track-driving.
I wish they edited the sound of the man smacking his lips out. I came to watch and hear supercars not mouth noise ASMR. Other then the audio issues and getting the cars wrong at the bottom of the screen great video.

This was not a shootout, half the cars were driving slowly and waiving to the crowd, getting in the way of the cars who were actually trying to set a decent time.

Commentators talking about LaFerrari and then all you hear is VRRRRRREEEEEEAAAAAAAAMMMMM as the FXX K launched. Couldn’t hear a word they were saying for about 6 seconds.

These cars are producing far FAR more torque and horsepower than the tyres can handle. They're all going to have to start taking the Pagani route of active aero on the bonnet, along with actuated aero on the boot!

Wow, that Rolls did an excellent time compared to some other cars...like Maserati and Mustang
The time shouldn't be track because the driver who is driving is responsible for the brand name too. For eg. a person who owns a hyper car will save his car by driving it slow (in short people will start to think the brand is slow)

Man it's crazy to see how slow these cars are compared to the fastest cars. I knew that 44 was fast and then cars started to drop down towards 41 and then VW broke into 39. Really gives you some perspective as to just how fast the fastest cars are. Even that Tacoma from a couple years back that did a 46 is insanely rapid.

Since they are mentioning that the Brabham is made in Australia, it is worth mentioning the Ford GT is built in Canada by and a Canadian company.
I like how you show us who got what times.......like it actually means anything. Would be a lot useful if you put the car names instead.
I would definitely like to see the time displayed for each car as they finish. mostly because I want to be sure that nothing beat the bac mono.

The shootout is tomorrow!!! And it wont be diluted! The supercar shootout is fairly new but its still only to show off the cars, tomorrow will be crazy and you will see each timed segment to the finish

Typical McLaren. Stopping in the middle of the track with both of their cars and ruining the lap times for a bunch of people after them.
This is supposed to be a shootout, if they just wanted to park in front of a crowd, there's the rest of the week for it.
And I'm aware the majority of drivers are not taking this seriously, but it's the arrogance of not giving a damn about those behind that irks me. Like stopping in the middle of the highway during busy traffic.

The comment that mentioned show the whole run of every car i agree from watching this i can't tell what's going on who is fast who isn't except for the obvious take the time. Once a year great event do it right. Let one car run at a time when that run is done the next car goes

They should´ve made a MKV Supra 15 years ago, i fear its too late for it to live up to the legend. But i love how they still managed to put a 3 litre in it, despite annoying emissions regulations and weird politics. Probably one of the last "affordable" cars with a big I6 in it. I love BMW straight 6s, but they really got rare in the new Models, its a shame. But in reality, it should have been a 3JZ...we all know that.
