Plug Gate! Haha! You kill me, amigo.! My new Beta 300 Race would start to bog when loping along in the mtns of NM 2 weeks ago. I just did the classic clear out revs and luckily she always came back to life. I know you applied dielectric on all connectors like I did, but ut maybe you have a bad connection at the coil or wire to plug boot. I'd be curious to see how she runs on just the rear plug. Cheers.
Thanks for your effort clearing trails and creating content. Got a “real” bike finally, the ‘24 300rr race, which is why and how I found you. Thanks for all the info. I live in the mountains of Idaho and need to get my jetting right. Fouling $30 plugs 2 at a time is BS. I sure would love to learn how to set my clickers on my bike. Also…have you played with the power valve at all. I don’t remember you taking about that.
I haven’t really messed with the power valve much. I like the power delivery. I just checked the jetting chart and my main jet is dead on which is where it was breaking up. I might try a leaner pilot just to see but the bike runs great off the bottom.

Do you think one of the old heavy rubber hook straps would work better/quicker for securing your saw? Seems like they would be easier than fiddling with that strap and buckle every time.

Good to see the Beta up and running, gotta like a carb bike, I have been having a plug fouling issue on my 23 TX300 that I am working through also.
I tested the hose clamps for mounting the ee saw mount to the forks today so far its good less rattling

Apex says on their chart if jetted properly at lower elevation you should be able to go up 6000 ft. without changes.
Yep. All my other carb bikes can run from 4k to 13k

Thanks for giving back and taking care of the trails. Looked like a fun trail to ride. Montrose is an amazing place with such a wide terrain variety. It's great that we have riders in the community helping out, thank you and I know you're also mentoring your kids so they can step up as the next generation!

Do you have the guts foam with there seat cover? These seats are pretty uncomfortable was looking at trying there foam the see if it was any better

I don’t like the extra width more interested in just a softer foam the betas for sure have the hardest seat out most the manufacturers

What changes do you do to your bike suspension wise when you run the saw and mount?
Nothing. I used to have air forks and pump them up a bit but now I just ride it. It doesn’t handle great but I’m not racing b
I might go back to my air forks just for the saw
