I remember when I was in elementary school in the late 50’s or early 60’s there was a talent show at school one night. A young girl stood up and sang that song so perfectly that she got a standing ovation. Alan, I would give you the same for your performance ! Great lesson !!!

I have a 1978 Takamine F-400 (12 string).
You could try "Colour my world" by Chicago. Almost the same picking style. You could probably sing it well, too!
