I really enjoyed watching the process that you shared…. grid work, mark making, figures, colours. This has really inspired me. I also liked your voice. It was calm and gentle and enhanced your presentation. Thank you.❤
Such fun to watch! It’s interesting how some appear to walk forward and others walk away. Until you add or don’t add the face highlights ☺️. Great job!
Thank you. It is interesting to notice that. Sometimes if I have a sunrise or sunset . . . I leave them looking at that instead of adding the face. So much fun.
Interesting question. I had to give it some thought. I lived in Iran as a little girl . . . and the women there also carried items on their heads . . . so that is definitely part of my inspiration. I'm drawn to figurative art and pottery/teapots . . . so they seem to go hand in hand. I also love drawing angels and Mother Earth/Nature. It is interesting to think about why we find joy in drawing certain things. Thanks for your question!
Entirely lovely! Thank you Mary Ellis.
Thank you!
Love your approach. I'm really enjoying the grid journaling myself. It just keeps pulling me along. These are really fun. I like the figures.
Thank you so much! I know what you mean . . . I keep thinking of different prompts and ideas to try. It's fun.

Love this!! I'm curious what inspires you to do these figures. I lived in Kenya, and it certainly brought me right back there. ❤
