  • Another day at the goodwill bins! A reseller friend of mine stumbled upon an awesome item at the bins and I asked if she would sell them to me immediately! She makes an instant profit and I have plenty of meat left on the bone.

    Get a bag of peat moss and sprinkle it around the plants at the beginning of spring and end of summer. You may add some again in summer.
    Blueberries need acidic soil, the peat moss will water in, feeding the soil and plants.
    You can also work it into the soil around the plants.

    I can not believe it. You are the first reseller that explained why coffee mugs are a hard sell on eBay. If it was going to be someone, it was going to be you. YES! Coffee mugs weigh over 16 oz with packing and a box, so if you buy the mug for a $1 and sell it for $10, then the buyer is going to pay over $20 because of shipping. I have bought two mugs on eBay in 20 years. One was a Bruce Lee mug and the other was Jimi Hendrix. I still have them both. I just recently passed on a cool Pac-Man mug because it was going to cost $25.

    Craftsman Suspenders: I wear that style suspender. The key to vintage suspenders is no rust on the hardware and give the elastic a good pull to ensure it still stretches back. It’s like flexing sneakers to make sure they’re not coming apart at the sole. Age can be hard on both and you want to find any flaws before they go in the bag.

I laughed once when I was at a GW bins store and overheard a gentleman say... "dang it, I just purchased by jacket again". Haha - he had taken it off and laid it on top of his cart as he shopped and it got weighed with his total purchase. Must not have been the first time he did that. I really enjoy your videos. The shoes can be repaired with a strong rubber cement. Try to keep your profit margin to at least $25.00 after shipping in order to make it worth your while. You have to consider your gas, time, and shipping/handling for each and every item. Remember, your time is valuable make it work for you not against you.

    I sell mugs on poshmark, its 7.99 buyer paid shipping up to 5lbs. I have found that anthropologie mugs move pretty well. I buy them for .75 and they move pretty good for 12-15. Not a huge profit margin but they are consistent sellers.

      @@micheledickey4066 I just use what ever small box I have around, I get a lot of shipping boxes from family and friends. I do make sure it fits snug with bubble wrap in a small box, then I put padding like shredded paper and put it in a larger box with about 1.5 inch of room to absorb the post office tossing the box. I think my mugs by the time their packed end up being around 2lbs. But they have all mad it in one piece so far.

    Water Heater: you could go Tankless anyway, with an LP (propane gas) direct vent model. Unit and propane tank sit outside to save that space. With propane, you still have hot water even during a power outage, as long as you have water pressure.

If they aren't exact w the light, food etc. They also take time to grow WITH the other b berry bushes u NEED...good luck and be good to em...they will come around...mine took 3yrs, turned to hermaphrodite plants on their own THEN started to produce more plants and that's when I saw berries..I went from 1 sour ass berry to a few handfulls....

    Something you can do to keep track of what you paid for an item is when you put in the location of it in the custom sku, add the price you paid in there too.

    I mean - if the shoes are otherwise in good condition, a bit of "Shoe Goo" can do wonders regluing soles. As long as the rubber isn't "cracking" it should turn out fine.

      Any tips for cleaning them please? :)

    • @Craider79
      @Craider79 2 роки тому +1

      @@amyk9813 Sure! Depends on what kind of blemishes they have. If it's "just" on the surface, then the way often shown here on the channel is pretty good - using a "clay" or "rubber" block to rub it off paired with a good cleaning agent - and then just use a lot of energy :-D can be pretty hard depending on what the blemishes are. There are also some very good cleaning products specifically aimed at cleaning shoes. One I've used with great results is called "DFNS footwear cleaner". Don't know if that brand is "a thing" in the US - Since I live in the EU :-D It CAN be easier than the other method - but again depends on what the dirt is.
      And now the "bad news": If you keep scrubbing and scrubbing but it doesn't help - the dirt is likely something corrosive which has seeped into the rubber. At that point there is really only one thing to do - use something which stains the entire sole in a uniform color - Grey is one of the easiest to get right using black "rubber dye" on a white sole. It's basically a "last way out" solution and can be pretty hard to get right. Again only attempt this if the next step is the trashcan.
      I say "rubber dye" because I don't know the English word for it... Ask your local hobby/hardware store. It should be the kind that "interacts" with the surface - and not the one making a rubber coating... cause that'll last for like 5 minutes when you walk in them :-D

    on blueberries you need to plant three different species of blueberries to get them to produce . I forget why but there is a reason ... and yeah you need to cover the blueberry bushes with bird netting otherwise the birds will get them all because they do not wait for them to be ripe
