What a fantastic interview. Great questions and answers, I thoroughly enjoyed that. Toto always comes across as such a great guy. Good work. More please!
Agree 100% on the point of not talking the sport down- Andretti an ex-champion has been exemplary in his very positive outlook and insight into current day F1. It is rather sad and disappointing that the former champs who ought to know better, than bad talking the sport at the earliest of opportunities. I hope the silver arrows continue to win and land many more titles- it is up to the others to up their game. Can't wait for the start of the new season.....
Kishor Kafle Ground effect is very unpredictable and would be very dangerous at the speeds the cars are going at today. A bump in the track and they could go flying in an instant at 200+ mph. Already in the 70s where ground effect was used, they had some big crashes even though they went much slower back then.
Kishor Kafle Absolutely. Also, there haven't been any real research done on if its possible to somehow make more downforce but still reduce the wake of the cars. They have tried to make the downforce different so it doesn't disturb too much next year, but according to Pat Symmonds, it hasn't been researched enough. Maybe next years big tyres will make it a bit easier, but I doubt it.
Rottensteam it seems useless. The cars will be faster, yes. But will everybody follow closely? I doubt it. Cars are faster even so now. Breaking lap records. But that has never been the problem. Its been the dirty air. And they have done nothing to fix that.
The cars are currently much slower in race pace than the lap records, the lap records are only beaten in qualifying pace and not race pace. That's why they are getting faster next year so they again will be as fast or faster than the actual lap records during the race. Fx this years Bahrain pole was: 1:29.493. But the fastest lap during the race was only 1:34.482. With the lap record being 1:31.447 in 2005 and 1:30.252 in 2004 (2004 was however with a different turn 4). Hopefully the big tyres will give them the grip to follow more closely, they are much much bigger than before, but only time will tell. Its probably going to be like this years racing, which haven't been bad, but no improvement other than pace. I guess, if they kept the current aero rules but still got the much bigger tyres, the racing would improve.
although for 2016 ferrari and williams said that they might have a chance to win the championship, maybe torro rosso might be a head of redbull thanks for 2015 ferrari engine this well be epic but can mercedes be better than 2014 and 2015?
i'm sure of that but what amused me, (as a tanned person) about this vid is the uniformity of blond hair ppl (even some bold ) around , but i'm sure that's not the case of the 1 500 workers, you need some colors over there, and of course i'm a big Ferrari fan, just wanted to do a funny commentary, cheers from Algiers ;)

I Loooooooove Toto!!! ♥️
The one rule i would love to change is bring back ground effects and reduce front wing and rear wing downforce.

Rottensteam i do understand. But what i meant was a mere reduction on downforce with wings. Not eliminate them. Hopefully then cars can follow closer.

Pascal Wehrlein at Manor...nice
If Toto were as candid as he affects, he would have assumed TOTAL responsibility for the loss in Australia.
Love Toto
I am fan of McLaren, but I love this man!!!!
That last question was hilarious.
most people say flying.. I think invisibility says you're a bit devious
Yes excellent!
Toto... The real " most interesting man in the world " 😎 😁
Makasih sayang...... 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Are you looking forward to the regulation change in the 2017/2018 F1 season?
although for 2016 ferrari and williams said that they might have a chance to win the championship, maybe torro rosso might be a head of redbull thanks for 2015 ferrari engine this well be epic but can mercedes be better than 2014 and 2015?
Toto has Polish roots!

Hi Toto , why the only black working for Merc's is the driver ??????????????????????
+ice man That’s not the case. 28 nationalities are represented in our team.
i'm sure of that but what amused me, (as a tanned person) about this vid is the uniformity of blond hair ppl (even some bold ) around , but i'm sure that's not the case of the 1 500 workers, you need some colors over there, and of course i'm a big Ferrari fan, just wanted to do a funny commentary, cheers from Algiers ;)

Toto getting interviewed by Rosanna. Talk about a coincidence ...
Bit of a classic this. All I want to do when I wake up in the morning is see you eyes Rosanna, Rosanna.
Honda is a string competitor. In fact, Toto has never been so wrong in his life.
Well your words didn't age well
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Omg his face has been sculpted by the bare hands of God himself
Toto - why do you sit in the garage instead of the pit wall like other team principals ?
Toto, you have crazy mind. I hope you will be one of richest man in the world. :P
Don’t get me wrong, I think since Toto Joined you guys in 2013. Your now a championship caliber team.
I remember some other guy joining in 2013 that seems to have helped as well, but I can't quite remember his name..
