Interesting topic. The older I have gotten, the more I think friendship is overrated. Many people have fake friends they call friends and they are aware of it. However are too scared to let go of them because they don't want to let go of the social circle.

BlessedBeautyChic I have been doing that for years and it’s so liberating. I don’t blink an eye in cutting people off. What irks me is when they try and come back few years later, then pretend like nothing happened and just want to carry on like nothing. They don’t want to talk about what happen. I’m like if you don’t talk about it, how do we prevent it repeating itself. At that point I cut off permanently by blocking them out of my life. The less people I have around me, the more peaceful I am. At this point of my life, I cannot compromise this and don’t let just anyone in my space.
