      I will always advise against the awful modern stock footage of say, a woman crying, a large pile of dollars, the police booking somebody, etc.
      I personally would like a longer look at the headlines (without having to pause constantly), and the old photographs when available. Otherwise, good stuff!

    Fun fact 1915, Dr. Kellogg imported 300 black squirrels (technically gray but they're black). He told the newspaper he had fond memories of these squirrels from his youth and wanted to restore them to Battle Creek.

      No, it was Dr. John Harvey Kellogg, his elder brother, proprietor of the world famous Battle Creek Sanitarium.
      Kings and princes and millionaires came from all over the world to get a health tune up.
      The flakes were an accidental discovery Will made leaving the mix out too long.

    Ronning did it. His shoe was found below the apartment of Hume. They say he couldn't find where he left Patricia's body even though he lived in the area. No he didn't live in the area he grew up on the east end she was found on the west end of battle creek. Big difference. He was just staying in the apartment with his wife below Humes with others. They were not killed in the order they were found. HIs wife talked too after she was arrested on a warrant. He did what alot of killers do kill then lets move. She said they moved around alot. And women came up missing. She claims she never knew anything. She was also his cousin and she identified the shoe at the Hume murder as Ronnings.
    I actually came across Ronning in high school. He showed up one day outside of Battle Creek Central across the street where we all hung out in the morning. I just watched him and he creeped me out. I asked someone who he was and he said, "Thats' Mikey, he's a bad boy". I asked why was he bad he just said he was and he never went to school. I asked why was he here the guy said he didnt know. Every fiber of my being said to get away from Ronning. He showed up a few days later and I never seen him again until he was in the news. He admits he lied to his family about killings in Michigan. Which most killers wont admit to family what they have done.
    No one ever talks about evidence or DNA in Hume or Evans cases. Ronning is the suspect in several killings in Florida and other states. He doesnt seek out publicity or attention and has made offers to confess to killings if the Governors would keep the death penalty off the table and they wont do it. He did it the M.O.'s match. Hes evil.
    This "documentary" is vague and lacks tons of details.

    • @ItsNeverAManequin
      @ItsNeverAManequin 2 місяці тому +2

      It's interesting that you believe Ronning was the killer. I actually sort of felt bad for him. The fact that he would admit to the murders just to be close to his family. I know lying is wrong and a false conviction would stop authorities from searching for the true murderer. Now, after reading your comment, I'm confused. If he, seemingly, wanted to be nearer to his family then why did he get so many details wrong then admit to lying?

    • @sissykim3975
      @sissykim3975 7 днів тому +1

      @ItsNeverAManequin he admitted to his family. Most people in a position like this do lie to their family. He's a psycho they lie. The area he dumped the girl in is developed now and he's from the east end of town not the west end where he dumped her. He wouldn't know the area. But his shoe was found on the balcony of Mary's apartment.

      Bellevue has been known for that since I was a kid and before.
      As long as you are scoffing, it's also a UFO hot spot.
      One night, as I was driving past the Kellogg Sportsman's Club, a yellow banner floated across the road, at windshield height on my 77 Coupe De Ville.
      My girlfriend said someone had died. I didn't know anything about that, but I definitely saw the banner.
      As soon as we got home, the phone rang. It was her mom, calling from Tennessee to say her Aunt had just passed peacefully.
      I learned a lot from that girl, and I was skeptical of most of it, until it proved true, as it always did.
