Hey man, I have the exact same car as you. Also considering a g20, MUCH more comfortable than the f30. Waiting for the car bubble to pop in a few months. Did you sell your car private party or trade it in to a dealer/wholesaler

I sold it to a dealer and got a cheap daily for now. I plan on getting the G20 when the prices come down

Congrats -- the G20 is way better platform than the F30. Yeah; I'm on go-flats too, with a tire repair kit, air pump, etc, in my trunk. But if the tire gets slashed, like yours, then I'm just as screwed. Even if you had a spare tire in your trunk, it would be fresh, and you would run into the x-drive limitation anyway. However, I think as long as the back two and front two tires are within a certain amount of each other you'll be OK. Some X-drives even came with staggered tires.

I didn't get the G20 yet. I'm waiting for the market to come down a little. But yeah I'm looking forward to it. And I asked a few different shops if they could repair my tire. They all said it was way too damaged

My 2006 STI had similar situation with stock tires and couldn’t get a bad flat fixed so I had to cough up a lot of money for 1 new replacement tire and tire rack needed diameter of other 3 tires and they shaved the new tire down. So I paid a ton more for a new tire that had some of its tread wear shaved off...go figure.
I don’t get it...you sold your 340i? With 3 tires on it? Sorry but did I miss you solution for the flat? And ru driving the m340 right now or are you without a car?

I ended up throwing a cheap spare on and selling the car like that. The new owner threw on a new set of four tires. I don't have the M340i yet. I'm waiting for prices to drop a little before I start shopping

You consider F80/F82 competition instead of a G20? Doesn’t sound as good and no Xdrive but handling is better and mod potential is still huge

I am considering those too. I just don't like how expensive they are right now. A low mileage F80 competition in my area is selling for 60k+

I keep a stock set of wheels for all my cars just for this other than calling them my winter and summer set lol.
