Thank you for your video, cause I accidentally turned the sound off and I didn’t know why. Now I fixed it and makes beeping noise again so thank you. I appreciate your video. Dave from Chicago.
Is there a way to reset the door handle unlock button on the driver / passanger and lift in the back? it used to work now they don't unlock, i have new batteries in my fob too.
I just got the FX35 2006 I’m learning about the car I watched your video and it has helped a lot I wish on my car you could pull a button inside my car to lift the back trunk … I’m learning so much about this car I like it I’m getting some work on the car to in holes to keep it for 5 years or longer. Great car thanks for your video 👍🏾💕
My comfort and conveneince disapppeared. it never shows whether or not the engine is runing or the car in at on position. do u know any solution other than dealership. i tried ecu reset / battery diconnect and connect but no luck
i have infinitifx37 and the problem i have is when i unlock the door all the doors but not the driver side the door still lock how can i fix it thanks and i appreciate your help
It’s nice video bro although it’s a bit long but not sure if it’s will work for 2008 model as most of these options available in my car but will test window opening 😅
Nice video bro, I want to ask u about the key storage do u have to keep it there or is ok to leave it in ur pocket or in ur bag when you are inside the car and the car is on. Thanks again
Typically, mine doesn't leave my pocket. That key slot is only for use when the key fob battery dies. In fact, I have heard of people who said their batteries seemed to die often because they usually kept the key in the slot for long periods of time.
@@IzuFestus right. If your 2009 FX does not have heated + cooled seats, then it does not have the Bluetooth option. Additionally, in 2009 the Bluetooth was for calls only, not music.
i have a 2010 Infiniti FX35 awd , with or without the selective mode the trunk never closed ,i tried everything ....so what do you think the problem is?? i will never buy any Infiniti vehicles again because they call it luxury but it's all cheap plastic.....thank you Nissan lol
Very good video - I just have a quick question, How do you turn off the security indicator light sound on G37 coupe? Thanks for any help you can provide.
I have a 2017 infinity qx50 very happy with the car but in 70 years old and short one of the fixtures that I really wanted was the automatic opening of the trunk and I don't have that si I don't put anything in my trunk I don't even have a way to open the trunk from inside the car this is crazy to me almost all cars have that fixture I have a2014 Nissan sentra and I can open it from my smart key or from inside the car how in the world such expensive car doesn't have that? I was hoping that you would give me a better answered thank you so much I guess I need to exchange that car and I love my car but I have no use of my trunk too old too short to open it manually but again thank you for your video 🙏
Sorry for the disappointment. I found the eX/QX50 to be a little quirky in that it has a lot of nice luxury features, but then it packed some basics...not offered even in the higher trims.
I have a 2011, I have the automatic adjustments...seats, steering wheel etc, when you open the door, turned off...how do I keep the steering wheel from making that annoying noise when I get ready to start it...thanks
@EdBwoy I have that feature turned off, the steering wheel is not moving, when I turn the car off, and open the door, it makes a noise as if it wants to move, but doesn't..
8:06 I recently bought a g37 and I don’t like the fact that anyone can just click the button on the door and it unlocks the door without no key . Is there a way to turn that off ?
Yes, you can turn the feature off. It is the "intelligent key unlock" menu option at the 18:25 mark. But actually, not just anybody can unlock the car with the button. They have to have the prox key near that door to make it work. Plus for most Nissans and Infinitis, you have to have the key at that exact door you are opening. For example, if you had the key in your pocket and stood at the driver door, your passenger's button cannot unlock the car. And if you had the key in your pocket and stood at the passenger side, someone else standing on the driver side wouldn't be able to unlock it...unless they have another prox key in their pocket.
@@EdBwoy thanks bro yea I figured it out . It only opens when the key is close 😂 . Btw my adapter input doesn’t work where should I take it to get that fixed
Fantastic Video! Didn't know that 2-button trick to stop the horn honking when locking the car. However 1 add in - the windows do roll back up when you hold the lock button, just need to hold it longer at about 4-5 seconds, it also closes the sunroof too. No need to take the secret key out of the fob.
If I may ask, where are you located and what year is yours? In the US, Nissan/Infiniti has had this feature for a while, but for whatever reason, the roll up function was never included for those vehicles that got the feature. And the sunroof wasn't usually opened. ...you could get aftermarket modules that allow you to do that, but out of the box they wouldn't.
If the car is new to you, people usually start with a computer reset. It basically erases all learned behavior like transmission shift points. A lot of people report success with that in correcting a lag. For modification, thankfully the 350z and G35 owners have already charted the way forward and tried almost anything that could be tried. I'd just copy them, haha
Nice car, but if fuel economy is a big concern I would advise you to stay away. It is thirsty and requires premium fuel. The only other issue I see with these as they age, is water getting in from the sunroof drain system
Hey man .... How's it going ? It's Tony in Seattle I emailed you a while back about 03 m45 head gasket issues... I wish you'd do a video on replacing the starter in these M45 model cars . So I jacked the car up , slid under there found where the starter was at , and slid right back from under there and went and called a mechanic...lmao 🤣 but seriously though. Will you do some on car repairs and not on the engine stand . That would help me and others out a lot... Thanks
Man, the visibility under the car is horrible. If I can barely see the work myself, the camera will have trouble too. But you bet if I ever have to do my own starter in the car, I'll record video to share some pointers.
Just dropped it off at the shop. Gonna see how good the service is and if it's good I'm gonna see if he'll do my head gasket . I don't know why I live this car so much when I have an 03 s500 4matic . This m45 is just a lil sprintier than the Benz. Hey man I was gonna ask you about stereo upgrades in the 03m45 . Do you know of any way to replace the head unit and still have my accessories , heat and whatever else . Lmk please and thank you for helping where you can.

I respect your opinion/expertise but from the stats on this video, it seems the masses find this kind of info valuable. And I don't know if you watched the video or not, but I can guarantee that most dealerships aren't the most helpful or knowledgeable when it comes to this kind of depth. Manuals exist but sometimes they can be written in a rather confusing manner. Seeing a real life demo of features always helps.
This is thorough. Detailed. Much appreciated. Thank you for spending your time to explain and show all these things! 😁
You can unlock all the car from the trunk with selective unlock by pressing the button instead of the pad

This would require some disassembly to unscrew the button from it's panel and replace it

that's only if it's equipped with remote start
