Their real voyage started when they all met each other, again.
they actually filmed the entire movie in norwegian and english. They did every scene twice, once in norwegian and once in english
English, Norwegian and Swedish
Is it a swenglish movie?
@@kulwantdhaliwal1445 norvenglish
So, they never went to Perú?
Cesar Dominguez fueron a Perú, pero hablaron ambos ingles y noruega, y por eso hicieron dos peliculas
Excellent movie based on the real-life adventure of Thor Heyerdahl and his friends crossing the pacific ocean on a raft over 5,000 miles in 1947! Inspiring!
Hey bro
Just visited the Kon Tikki Museum in Oslo!! The original raft and many different objects taken on the journey are there!! What an amazing experience!! 🤩
It's one of the best movie I've seen last year ..
Every one should see it. It's amazing
I wish it were in UA-cam
Just watched this, it was really good, and let me tell you, there is a scene with a shark that is highly realistic.
The actor is so handsome. His eyes are mesmerising! He is intelligent, kind, innocent - great movie
lolol thank you, on behalf of all north-west european men
Honoring the scandinavian true spirit of adventure and daring.
This movie should not be judged by whats it like but what it is
A lesson of friendship, love and humanity.
I loved this movie! It wasn't perfect. I mean.. when they left with the raft, you could really tell the harbor was CGI and in the beginning it was hard to tell who was talking, when it was filmed from above when the four or five (I don't remember how many were on the raft) were planning their route.
But the trip on sea was mindblowing. The acting was good and the animals they encountered were very realistic and it was really a great adventure movie!
Peliculón hace unos años se realizó Kontiki , una expedición de dos barcazas nuevas 💪💪💪💪💪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪
Heyerdahl proved his theory was feasible , but DNA technology proved it was wrong , brilliant adventure regardless of that
With one tiny, tiny difference: althought dramaticed, this story actually happened.
Floki is here!!
I read this book when i was younger, it's incredible
It's only incredible if you haven't done or read much after.
Read the book first. The film could never do it justice.
Amazing CGI....
old but gold
*The Holy Spirit keeps on feeding my mind daily He is the greatest media I have ever seen in my life*
What do you mean with "media"?
Pero que increíble que exista esta película, la veré pase lo que pase...😍😎☠️🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪
seen this movie!... it is one little gem!
It's very possible that Polynesians are related to South Americans
Yeah very true. I think it is quite likely.
It turned out not to be true actually
@@tabestorm5339 incorrect
I've always said that.....Even before this movie....Just an inner knowing Also The Taro plant is common in both places I found out s few months back...
Probably yes! more than 500 years ago, Túpac Yupanqui, at only 25 years old, went for an expedition to the current islands of Polynesia (Oceania) in search of gold and new species of animals and plants that could prove useful to the Inca Empire.
There is a legend of King Tupa, which to this day remains on the island of Mangareva and also there's a friggin' Inca imperial wall in Easter Island, it has also been discovered that there's Andean DNA in the Polynesian bloodline.
A rendez-vous not to miss.
Worth it for the magnificent facial hair alone.
wonderful movie about real heroes that do not wear spandex leggings
That is the best part, the hollywood movie spirit is like a piece of rotten beef, it looks like food, but it will damage your health.
An outstanding film
what a great story...it was inspiring. truly an epic journey...I wonder what Tikis adventure was like...
There were people lived here like thor. This was so nice
Also there is a move 'the aeronauts' you must watch this
It gave me a Vikings vibe.. even Loki was there.. je je
Read the book, now the movie. Hope it is just as good!!
The book it's amazing!! Hopefully this is as well.
I love this movie after ''In the heart of the Sea''
I’m from Norway and I’ve seen this in 2014 but in norwaygain
This is such a good film
I just watched. It was amazing good making!
is it a shark movie?
@@joemardigamon137 no, it's a survival and travel on sea. Based on a true story
Hey check out the raft's sail insignia. That raft was a friggin Autobot.
"Real" Adventure. There i fixed it for you.
They were wrong. It was actually the other way round. The polynesian traveled to Peru
They shot every talking scene twise actually. One in Norwegian and one in English.
I did not know a movie was done.Chamanes used to say that
A real revelation of Norwegian leadership.
Where can i find the english version?
Love it it's beautifull when you learn different culture like the Incas Incas means children's of the sun
hehe, yeah but did you watch Titanic as well for the ending? Its the journey thats the story, not the ending:)
Keep getting distracted by Pal Sverre Hagen's looks ...
Best movie! and real edvanture!
they dubed the whole vid on english or, did u just take the parts where they speak english? i saw it on norwegian
Apparently they filmed all the entire scenes twice! In Norwegian and English!
Is it possible to computate what their chances of success were, given the major circumstances? Could the saying "a needle in a haystack" be used?
The Greek reinvented the astrolabe about 150bc, but many archaeological finds support theories of earlier similar devices.
sound low.
Uh, don't they pretty much give away the ending in the last 20 seconds of the trailer?
Is this movie faithful to the book?
Damn nature, you scary.
Aaaaah!! I see what you did there! LOL!
When trailer means spoiler
And they had a pet duck! True story!
Thor Heyerdahl sailed before any of the books and/or films you mention were even imagined.
His theory proved to be true. Inca carved rocks were found in polynesian islands.
False, those were carved by Polynesians.
Can any one tell me where I can find this Free. 😥 or any other Survival movie I can watch it free. Pls... 🙏
Didn't he do the trip alone, though
WTF ?!? Floki is here!
Right. The Norwegian were the best in snow management.
This is not a hollywood film if that's what you meant.
yes, they dubbed all of it -.-'
Stellan's 2nd born
The inka !!
Its a wonderful film. But a little scary for me,
Sold. Shut up and take my money.
and here i thought from the thumbnail it was Draco Malfoy
norway! norway! norway! love this film, but the norwegian-english accent..
Floki What are you doing there?
... It's just you, and your little book Milo James thatch.
kha dehk sakte he is movie ko
Sonny Mona... Mayans and Aztecs were actually from North and Central America (not South America). The "original" South Americans you're likely referring to as the Incas.
A promotion for social sciences.
next time cast polynesians to play polynesians. thank you!!
gtfoh i say cast any actors that resemble or know how to act smh
@@ivespoken8902 they’re talking about extras, not the cast of the movie, acting has nothing to do with it
‘The scenes depicting Heyerdahl's experiences on Fatu Hiva were shot in Thailand with Thai extras who do not resemble native Polynesians, and who are shown holding compound spears not typical of the Marquesas Islands, and weaving rattan baskets, of which neither the technique nor the plant material are native to French Polynesia.’
@@18697wit well they probably didn't have the fund and the time to travel to Tahiti to film it lol anyway...it would have been awesome though...
They re-dubbed it for internation trailers i see
lol old game but bring memory
Is that Ryan Gosling?
+thebestgamer no
Bill Skarsgard 3
0:56 Nicolas cage
WHERE'S WILSON?
Didn't Cracked just do an article on this guy?

Haha seriøst? Visste jeg ikke

Why are they using an astrolabe? Shouldn't they be navigating using primitive instruments, if at all?
Why are they killing sharks?
Im 75% norwigian, 25%swedish Im so proud :D
Megwetch
Movie exec 1: Remember that documentary with all the drama and adventure about real people challenging themselves, the scientific community, and nature itself?
Movie exec 2: Yeah?
Movie exec 1: Lets do that but with fake emotion!!!
A alguien le mandó esto su profe de tarea sin sentido? :v
I`ll spare you. You just saw the entire movie by seeing this trailer.
I'll spare you, read the real kon-tiki story. You don't even have to watch the trailer 😱
