Got my Diesel X about a month ago, have put about 20-25 shots thru it so far and loving it. Zero problems and it’s capable of better accuracy than I am so it’s a keeper. Nice review, thanks!👍
Thanks for your insight Dave! I appreciate you sharing 💪🏻
Will be taking delivery of this guy tomorrow!
Excellent Timbo! 💪🏻let me know how you like it.
@@mountainbuck How much did you pay for it?
on the wish list for next year's hunts
Hey Jon! Yeah the Diesel is a real nice bow for the money 💪🏻
I got the vital x after your review on it. I had the barnett xp385 for first crossbow. Safety was a issue and kept malfunctioning. Crank was loud also
Hey Jeremy! Thanks for watching man 👍🏻
Seemed pretty dang quiet. Nice job Duane
Thanks Trophy Hunter! Yeah it’s a pretty soft and quiet shot. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Nice review and as everyone else said, seems quiet! Looking forward to more of your videos!
Thanks Howard! I appreciate you watching! 👍🏻
I love hatchet cams on a compound
Oh, nice haha. Thanks for watching Patrick!
Going to buy this, or the barnett hyper raptor 410, not quite sure which one to pick.
Thanks for watching Josef! Let me know if you have any questions on the Diesel!
Love my Fatal X
Hey Rich! Thanks for the feedback! Best of luck this season 👍🏻
I think this will be the crossbow I buy. I’ve never owned one always used compounds. Would you recommend anything else or is the best bang for the buck?
Hey Chris! This is definitely a solid bow for the money. If you wanted to go the even cheaper route with less frills, the Killer Instinct Vital X is a solid bow as well. I did a comparison video between the two of them if you’re like to check it out. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Show 👏👍
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Love how narrow it is, but man it looks super long
Hey thanks for watching! Yeah that adjustable buttstock helps with the length of needed 👍🏻
Nice review! Looks quiet!
Hey thanks Andy! Good to hear from you 👍🏻
I just recently got my diesel x after watching your vid. I have one question how do you uncock with shooting it? Can you uncock with a rope cocker. I have a older wicked ridge and you were able to uncock with rope cocker.
Hey Tom! You aren’t able to decock this bow. You should shoot a bolt into a target at the end of your hunt. They sell specific bolts for this if you don’t want to use your good bolts abs Broadheads. Thanks for watching!👍🏻
@mountainbuck no I was I just shot it at my target just wondering if any one knew a way to do it with the rope.
Nice
Thanks StedyOne👍🏻
Hi Dwayne I hate to bug you again but alot of us Diesel owners were curious about two things, 1.there seems to be downward pressure of the sting onto the rail, does yours have that?, is it supposed to be that way? 2.the safety is a bit noisy for hunting, do you find that to be the case?, is there a solution to it?, i tried oiling the mechanism but didn' work.
Hey Tim! I'll take a look at the downward pressure here in a bit. As far as the safety sound, that is pretty common across crossbows and what I typically do, is pinch the safety between my fingers and slowly slide as this muffles the sound. What I've also been doing, is taking the safety off altogether once I get totally set in a spot.
@@mountainbuck Thanks for the reply Dwayne, yeah that downward pressure thing is causing a stir on the Crossbow Nation forum.
@@mountainbuck Hey Dwayne, did you check out the downward pressure issue yet?
@@timbo749 hey Tim, I sent you an email. Did it not go through?
@@mountainbuck I never got it. :(
Does it come with the cocking strap?
Hey Stan! Yes, it comes with the rope sled cocker. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
