I am born and bred in Gloucester, and lived in Brunswick Square, but never knew it was called Gaudy Green or was connected at all to the civil war. I have lived in Canada since I was 16 in 1957. I have visited my family and Gloucester many times, and love visiting there, I am still a Gloucester girl at heart and always will be!!. I love that you are so enthusiastic and knowledgable about the history, educating me at this late stage! Many thanks
