Bit the bullet and bought it (i already own the Bonanza and King Air), and am beyond impressed. The level of detail and realism is nearly unmatched by other MSFS devs. The TBM has fantastic custom propeller dynamics and animations, something that is severely lacking in Asobo and 99% of other 3rd party aircraft. This is easily up there with A2A and PMDG
Incredible, Black Squares fleet are the only airplanes that bring back the good old icing effect with the windows completely iced over and no longer translucent while windshield heater off instead of completely dumbing icing down to almost no longer existent because "people might not like it, and might find it to complicated to switch on the windshield heater"..... FINALLY the good old icing effect from the glorious early flight sim release days are back before icing was almost completely removed from the sim in 2021 or 2022.... for... no reasons at all... And what is even more rare and exclusive in this gorgeous plane is the animated de-icing boot, only the FlySimware Cessna Chancellor ever had this detail animated, and now also the Black Square TBM. And the devs even went one step further and added St. Elmos fire on the windshield and lightning effects on the wing lightning rods - this is incredible! But I´ve tried the St. Elmos fire for at least one hour under various thunderstorm conditions and different altitudes and it never showed up, also on Reddit no user ever was able to provoke this effect yet. If anyone know how to provoke that special lightning effect on the windshield (reproducible every time under a certain fix weather preset not with live weather) please let me know. :)
Great respect for your flying skills Emanuel, I think this is a real feat to make such a landing. I'm not copying you, thank you for this very interesting tutorial!
One of my fav planes in the sim atm. BSQ really have produced some wonderful planes for the sim. Nice use of the TDS750 it’s a beautiful instrument in a lovely plane. These types of flights make up for all the frustrating times in the sim. Thx for a very enjoyable video with great scenery. I would say Mountain takes first place on the don’t want to hit list 😂
I reeeally love this update. I feel like this update is waaay easier to get trimmed properly for takeoff and has a much nicer initial climb. Landing feels incredible as well. It's now easily my favorite flight model in MSFS.
I'm surprised with as much flying as you do that you don't at least use TrackIR. It's a massive game changer for MSFS and makes looking around more fluid and less hassle. Just a thought. Thanks as always for sharing another great video. Cheers.
I use TrackIR since forever and i agree, it's vital for me in MSFS aswell. But for video production I see that it could add some unwanted shaking or parasite camera movement. While it is would be comfortable for YOU, looking at the video of someone's head bobbling in all directions could be distracting, or even uncomfortable.
Great aircraft. I think an EFB with Navigraph integration (Similar to Just Flight's Piper series) might be useful for it though, and would really complete it as a whole.
Emanuel which 750 were you using .. TDS, PMS50, or stock? Can you have both the TDS and PMS50 installed at the same time on your computer for doing comparison testing? I’m thinking about picking both up for my rig. Thanks
It was the TDS. None are stock. Some planes allow you to switch between the two. Others like King Air, you must uninstall the PMS50 before using the TDS. You don’t need both.
what I still find a bit confusing is that the checklists seem to be inaccurate since testing the deicing boots is not possible without the bleed air on. But according to the checklist, switching bleed air to on comes after airframe deicing test in the checklist 😅
So I fly most of the time only with BKSQ Tbm850. I have absolutely not regretted the purchase. Thanks for your great videos 737NG Driver. I fly in the configuration TDS GTNxi as primary source for the autopilot and the GNS530 as secondary source. I tried to use the GNS530 for the GPS flight plan, but I couldn't get it to work. Flying with NAV2 works reasonably well. Has anyone tried this before? Maybe something like this would be worth a video? I have not found much on the net and manual. Greetings Swen
the ground effect is still way exagerated. You flaot like a mad man. I tried to land à la Steveo with flaps in T.O position and speed around 105-110kt before flaring and i still float like hell whereas steveo doesnt float at all so very frustrating for me
@@sergeydubovyk9268HS is working on it full time, it's not just an update but rather a full rewrite along with improvements so that does take more time than a simple port to XP12
@@xeels2708 I know. Yet still point stands, that as of "right now, no, yesterday" (/s) we don't have it in XP12. Tbh, I only boot XP12 now for challanger, but even so it just doesn't run "good" for me (XP). I am waiting for next 1-2 minor versions from Laminar to see how it evolves.

The Bsq aircraft really hit the spot. Something about them just makes you want to fly.

Excellent aircraft and excellent video! I hope those after landing drinks were non-alcoholic! 😂
Certainly, still had to fly back!

He has a copy of Tobii eye tracker. From what I understand, he just doesn't use it when doing videos.
Below the cables? I guess that's a necessary TBMism? The PC12 comes in above them. Nicely done.
Must fly mine, thx for sharing my friend!
Let it cool down to around 5° C and you will notice that the LCD´s are reacting slower! Telling about love to detail!
nice. that was close on the second set of cables.
Still can't afford it at this time but it is Awesome that they improved it

Make sure to suggest it to the developers so that they can consider it.

sorry if i’m 11 months late but i was wondering how you mapped the throttles (i’m using the TCA Airbus pack)
Hi, no special settings done. Just the standard assignment through MSFS.
You don't have the full beta range assigned ? I saw peeps on youtube using it to slow down on landing instead of riding the brakes.
You cooked that ramp worker with the radar 🤕😉

Yes, it's sad, this crooked descent in Locher airfield! In addition, the power cables are somehow offset! Thank you for the nice video.

This is a bug that was fixed with the SU15.
Any updates since the 1.1 update? =)
Nope, that's still the current version.

it is what it is with MSFS, if you want a proper FM play XP12 and get the Hot Start
And wait god knows how much for them to release an update for TBM in XP12 unfortunately.
So you’re howling ass on approach and floated. Huh, who would’ve thought.

I flew the real TBM 850 for company back in 2014-15 however it was a Garmin 1000 Nav system. Was year was this this airframe built?😁🛫
According to the BKSQ manual, this addon "depicts the 2006 TBM 850."
