Thank you sis. 😍😍😍
I made this according to your instructions !!! Didn’t have the caddimon and added a little curry.... it was amazing!!!!! I didn’t know cloves could be so aromatic and nice . My aunts chef used to use Cloves every Saturday In mincemeat gravy and I grew to hate them but supprizingly they tasted so good and aromatic. Thank you for the recipe!!!
Tried this recipe, so good! My first time eating rice pilau and completely enjoyed it. For the spices, I got a mixed ground pilau seasoning instead.
Addicted to your channel thank you for your recipes 🙏👏

This looks sooo delicious!!!😋 I'm from Trinidad....we pronounce this dish the same way but spell it 'pelau'... we add pigeon peas(or green peas)...we don't traditionally make it with the masala spice mix, caramelized onions or potatoes....so I'm really looking forward to trying this method!🤗 Thanks for sharing!❤
Ok now I'm curious: how do you make yours?
Looks soooo good!
Glad you like it! 😊
Wow
I like it yummy 😋
I'm here for this chef...
It reminds me of the Senegalese dish, yassa poule (forgive me if I murdered it) made with rice, olives, lots of onions, mustard and the star chicken...
I've tried that a couple of times and it was very good
Yassa poulet is already on my to do list. I love it too. 😊

the spices at the start of the video scared me though. Same reason I buy the home made paste for Indian meals
😂😂🤣...you don't have to be scared. The spices are so easy to work with. 😊
What’s that one before the last spice that’s needed for the Massala... the one before the cinnamon?
Couldn’t quite hear so well what it was .. don’t recognize it either 🤷🏿♂️

Hi !
I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me learn how to cook! My husband is from Uganda and I’m Spanish so our cooking cultures has crashed . For so long I couldn’t meet his love language for cooking but your channel has definitely helped me so much Confidence In cooking HOT MEALS. He’s very into soupy foods and I am happy to meet his love language for food . It went from plain basmati rice , dry chicken to pilaf and juices chicken ! At first I didn’t understand why he wasn’t liking my cooking but now I do . I even got a spice grinder and upgraded my pans and oil .
Thanks you beautiful soul!
(✷‿✷) I've been wanting to try this dish for a long time. You video is amazing and I'm hoping to make this dish on my day off. It looks delicious.
Thank you...I'm sure you will love it :)
Uuuh that looks so good!
My boyfriend is from Rwanda, and I have for a long time wanted to find and learn about East African recipes.
I love to cook, and it is not really his thing, but I would love to learn, and be able to give him a little taste of home as well
But Rwanda is not really East African 🤣
Sorry i didn't ear you well what is the name of the nut again.
The Recipe looks good and looks nice, but no measurements for all the single dads out there....like myself...just add measurements and we are good to go...
MWANA WATTU AKACEERE KASUFFU 😋😋😋😋😋
