Took measurements on The Lawns I'm going to use my 36in on heart believe that there's a gate that those 36-in more cannot get through guess you'll have to use a push mower
Emily Burcham So to be clear we didn’t do 20, but they said if they had 36” they could have or gotten close. And this year I’m running a 2 man crew until I hire or train experience people. Average size is about 4-5k sq ft.
I got ya. Nothing beats the time efficacy of the one man crew, usually I can get 12 a day from one guy and 20 or so from two guys. Of course if you run one man crews and they get sick or quit you can be in trouble. I personally run DNA crews of one man and two men and they meet up on the larger properties and the one man does the smaller properties by himself.
Emily Burcham I firmly believe in one man crews too. Because of the smaller number for outs of somebody does Carlos you can just split it up with the others on that day. But there’s no fighting no drama just trying to get done with nobody in their way.
Looks like you have some really good equipment, stay on top of the preventive maintenance. Keep the power rake.. and instead of selling the 44, can't you just purchase a smaller deck, can't tell if the axle is as wide as the deck.? I know it's hard rowing the boat, steering the boat, but hang in there, you'll come across another "Rockstar".. I've been there.
Albie Craig I appreciate that thanks. I did already sell the Power Raker for $300 since it would have cost over $300 to get it fixed. And I already approved the dealer to sell the Toro. But yes preventative maintenance is a must!
In your area what are people willing to pay for this type of service per month. We are averaging $75 per month for weed pulling on a bi weekly service.
Scott Oswald We offer a discount if they sign up to weekly garden visits. So that is $50. a month. But that is my favorite, because while my garden specialist is their they walk the property and if anything is needed they send the customer an estimate. And that’s where we make our money. Currently we have 25% of our weekly mow customers on that service.
awesome review, sold my wright standers and bought my 1st toro 36, and the 4000 series 52
I'm really struggling on decide on the wright vs the Toro 36. Why did you sell your wrights?
@@creatingmind4910 Purchased Walker t27i and t23.
@@creatingmind4910 Both Wright and Toro built like tanks ota preference. wright are built small frames. Toro rides like Cadillacs
I just listened to you on my cousin's podcast!! Thanks for sponsoring the Horticult!!

Does the motor still move with the deck on the 36”
Zachary Krouse yes
I just bought one a week ago, 1.1 hours on it
Cory K
You should be happy with it.
Since this video I’ve put a bagging system on it. And it works much better that way than mulching.
@@LawnThumbs I'm definitely getting a bag for the fall season and man the things a beast
What do you do with garden service?
Scott Oswald
We weed and fertilize flowers and bushes. We rotate those services every other week. We also clean gardens and prune shrubs.

how did you lift the mower like that lol...
Scott Oswald
The 36” can be lifted by 1 man. The 48” cannot. Haha
