Roman temple Qasr Naous Ain Akrine
Ain Akrine, Ain Aakrine, عين عكرين is a Maronite village in Koura District of Lebanon. It was established in the early 19th century.
Before the 19th century, the land on which Ain Akrine stands today, was owned by AL HAJJ Youssef from Bnehrane. Following a dispute between two brothers, the family of EL KHOURY Ibrahim migrated from Kfarshakhna and settled in Ain Akrine. During the Ottoman occupation, a group of Christians lived in this town to escape oppression. The village is also known as Nawous Town (Qasr Naous).
عين عقرين، عين عكرين، هي قرية مارونيه في قضاء الكورة بلبنان. تأسست في أوائل القرن التاسع عشر.
قبل القرن التاسع عشر ، كانت الأرض التي تقع عليها عين عقرين اليوم مملوكة للحاج يوسف من بنهران. بعد خلاف بين شقيقين ، هاجرت عائلة الخوري إبراهيم من كفرشخنة واستقرت في عين عقرين. خلال فترة الاحتلال العثماني ، عاشت مجموعة من المسيحيين في هذه المدينة هربًا من القمع. تُعرف القرية أيضًا باسم بلدة ناووس.

نحنا ليوم بعين عكرين الكورة منظر جميل قلعة اعمدة صخرية وحجارة صخرية قديمة تتشابه بقلعة بعلبك وهناك بناء صخري صغير وعلى سطحه ينبت العشب الاخضر وايضا يوجد جرن حجري قديم المكان جميل وما يزيد جماله تصوير وليام يوثق الصور لينقلها لكم لاحقا انظرو ما اجمل منظر الازهار الموجودة في المكان ونرى القرى المتواجدة تحت القريبة والبعيدة اشجار البلوط ففي كل مكان شكرا لك وليام❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Seriously just came across this video. We owned (my father) this land upon which Qasr Naous lays. The government reclaimed the majority of the land about 20 odd years, however we still own a significant portion of which the ruins lay with title. From Kousba, living in Australia.
