you look at these types of videos thinking its easy and having enough self confidence to try it but when you actualy make it they end up like garbage

Next time if you do neon...pipe a thin white line inside the piped lettering surrounded by the color...it’ll look more like neon. Artist to artist. Wet on wet it would look exactly like neon.

Hi Maddy! Royal icing does dry to a harder texture, but if you want to soften it you can always add a teaspoon of glycerin to your icing. Thanks for the question!

What type of cookie dough do you use? I know the icing is royal icing because that'll stay in place on the cookie. I now got the idea to make these cookies for my sisters birthday sleepover party which is this Saturday.
