We really liked this video. If you can't hear the nodding, is it still selective hearing? 🤔 You guys are so nice. Thank you for visiting our LIVE stream. We are going to make you are Channel Champions on this Saturday Night's LIVE stream 9-19 at 730-9 pm est. We are planning on using the clip at 7:56 if that is ok? Thank you both so much for helping other channels. We love that. ❤️👍👏 Donovan & Jodi
Hey! We're thrilled you liked the vid, and by all means, use the entire twenty minutes of it if you'd like! It's really flattering that you think enough of our stuff to showcase it! We'll certainly be there for the live-stream Sat. nite!!
That place is great. I believe I saw a peach margarita shirt on Smokey while Jessie was swinging her Jan Brady inspired ponytail! Looking forward to camping in that, area post covid. Nice job.
She's downright dangerous with that ponytail at times - she can almost crack the thing like a whip! 😳 We'd love to have you down this way sometime. Thanks for watching!
This is our favorite campground...and was our stomping ground when we lived in Evans. Site #12 was the first site we ever stayed in....and it only took once. Like you mentioned, it’s really uneven. We don’t live there any more, but are going back for a week at the end of March. Can’t beat CoE campgrounds!
Thanks for watching our little chronicle of our first visit there! As luck would have it, we're headed back there this coming weekend, since we got rained out of Hamilton Branch this past weekend...
That’s a nice looking campground. It’s great that someone left you some firewood. We have a little inflatable boat stored at a friend’s home in Alaska. We hope to go get it next summer. We already purchased a Thousand Trails membership, but I’m loving the space in this park. I think we are purchasing something that won’t fit in most Corps of Engineer parks. Ginger has to have her office/ quilt room. Dam 💧 That’s beautiful.
Admittedly, we don't have much of any experience with CoE campgrounds, but I've heard from lots of "big-rig" folks who frequent them all over the place, so you might be surprised. Thanks for giving us a look!
Loved this video. It was very good liked like fun on the lake in the pontoon boat. Nice you visited with some friends. Weekends do go by fast. Looking forward to your next videos. It was hit all dummer here in Nevada. Well hope to see you soon. Stay safe!
Hello, Saw you guys on a live stream from RV on the wayside, That is a nice site, oh wow! right by the lake so beautiful, Very nice place to stay, plenty if you have kids to travel with as well. love it take care my friends
wow 1080p 60fps looks really nice. I normally shoot at about half that, but i'm really liking the quality you are getting on the video. I think i might shoot my next one at 60fps instead of 30fps. Anyways the campground looks really nice. Thanks for video.
Hey, we're thrilled you liked it! I have it in mind to try something at 24fps someday (movie frame rate) just to see how it would go, but haven't figured out an appropriate subject yet. Someday... 🤔
Nice campsite. I am planning on going to many COE campgrounds when we get our new trailer next spring. We took a 25 year break from camping. I started camping 51 years ago.
That's a great idea, since it sounds like you're kinda overdue to get back out somewhere! 😆 There are lots more CoE properties around our home base that we've got to check out. Thanks for watching!
That’s a beautiful campground! Love to fish right there at the site. Really neat set up lots of room and a fish cleaning station! Nice! You guys don’t fish?
Oh, yeah, we fish just fine from the counter at Captain D's! 🤣🤣🤣 Seriously, all of these parks around Lake Thurmond that we've done this summer are great for fishing. Petersburg especially had lots of room at the campsites for cleaning and prepping your catch.
Hi guys. Saw you at the live stream tonight and wanted to come check out your channel. After that intro, we watched the whole video wanting to see your dam tour with your dam guide. Then of course the visitor center is closed. Arrgghh. Your video quality is amazing. We are looking at new cameras. What are you using? New subscribers here. Looking forward to more great adventures with you!
Well, hey! Thanks for checking out our stuff, and welcome to "Noob Nation!" We shoot with a few cameras - all of the vlog-type stuff is done with our GoPro Hero 7 Black, our in-cabin stuff is done using a GoPro Hero 5 Session, and the stuff from the camper roof is shot with a GoPro Hero 5 Black. Whenever we do sit-down/speak-to-camera stuff, we use our Canon EOS Rebel T7i DSLR. There are a few shots in this video we got using our Sony FDR-AX53 camcorder, and we also use a Mavic Pro drone and our iPhones on occasion.
Oh, yes! We were VERY impressed! As nice as we've found the state and county parks around Lake Thurmond to be, the Corps of Engineers has outdone those. You might have to take a 25-minute ride or so off I-20 to get up there, but I think it'd be worth it.

@@LiveNLearnRV Aww thanks. We appreciated your interaction. You helped make it fun.
As always thanks for showing us around the campground and adding another campground to the bucket list!!!
We're always happy to hear that we're of some sort of service! Thanks for watching!!
Too cool to see more COE parks. Thank you for sharing! ~ Brad and Diana
Yes! It's something we'd like to do more often - CoE campgrounds are certainly under-reported. Thanks for watching!
The area looks so nice. Great scenery and beautiful water.
Isn't it!?!? We can't help but brag about Lake Thurmond. As "Weekend Warriors," we're lucky to have it so close by. Thanks for watching!!
We stay at Winfield COE right down the road, nice lake front lots, privacy, we take our pontoon to enjoy the lake. Happy camping
We haven't gotten over there yet, but it's sure on the list! Thanks for watching!

I couldn't pull off the Cindy Brady pigtails, so I had to go with Jan's style. (Marcia! Marcia! Marcia!) 🤣 Hope you can make it down our way soon.
@@jessicasmoak2140 Now I'm going to have to watch the Brady bunch since I can't get the theme song out of my head.lol.

You killed it with that opening 👏👏👏
Thank you, thank you!! Happy Hour's at 7:00, and be sure to tip your waitress, folks!! G'night!! 😜🤣
Love the quick shot of you two on the swing!
Glad you liked it, and hopefully you liked all the other shots, too! 😉
From that one word intro, I can tell you and Ron would be friends! 😁😛
Of course! We're the friendly sort! (well... Jessie's the friendly sort - I just behave because I know she'll kill me if I don't... 🙄)

Wow! You guys just keep showing us how many camping opportunities there are on that lake. We thought the Ozarks had a lot! Keep it up!
Maybe someday we'll get out to the Ozarks so we can do a fair comparison... 🤔 Save a space for us there somewhere!
I love Petersburg Campground!
We did, too! Hopefully we'll get a chance at some point to spend more than a weekend there. Thanks for watching the video!

We're headed to Petersburg next month, you actually had a good shot of our campsite, site 43. Good job.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
got me with that first line. 😂 Wish there were more CoE campgrounds around. We’ve stayed at one in Texas a few times and loved it!
Glad you liked it! Yeah, we're eager to see some other examples of CoE camping. If they do this good a job at other places, we might make it a habit!

You got to have a campfire when you camping
Oh, yeah - somebody around here has said that a time or two... or a hundred... 😆
