Hard to see you retire this plane. Loved seeing the views over Dublin Bay, Poolbeg, etc. I used to live off Barrow St in Grand Canal. Lots of memories!
Thanks, It's a great spot! I'm very lucky I only live a few mins down the road from this site and the farmer that owns the land is happy to let me fly there and even comes to watch sometimes
I don't know how I missed this video when you released it but i stumbled across it today and this Video is in my top 5 long range videos period. I have not read anything about your equipment yet but what a great video and great flying, I few times i thought you were going to clip a tree. I subscribed and will watch all your videos .Awesome job
Wow thanks for the great feedback! And welcome to my channel 😁🙌🏻 If you enjoyed the tree dodging in that one you're in for a treat on this one, it's my favourite flight ever: ua-cam.com/video/6isM7O8JZfI/v-deo.html
Thanks for the great feedback 😎 I do like this Avicii track, not his usual style but went well with this flight 👍🏻 I’m going to attempt this river run a lot lower soon 🤪
Yes it does, always served me well the Dragonlink. I didn't even think about my control link during this flight, that's how confident I am in the DL. Cheers
Thanks for tips. Looking for the most efficient fpv long range airplane with nose platform for pan/tilt. Considering Talon mini as most obvious choice. Wondering is there any flying wings with big enough nose platform.
Well I try not to have to many airframes of similar abilities, they take up a lot of space in the house and I now have 2 x young children so less space for storage. I'm looking to build a twin motor like the MFD Crosswind on 6S for super quiet and long range capabilities. Also have a couple of other projects later down the line, a 6s Funjet and a 6S big Drak. Thanks for watching
Super kool video Adam still amazes me how video feed is so good all I can do is dream that one day it happen to me. Question why is it the last time for the sky hunter.🥺. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers Pete :D I've had the SH a long time and I'm just going to move it on to make space for new projects. I try to limit the pile of planes I have haha
@@AdamGdoesFPV well thank you for showing how good the plane is it's a well cool plane. Maybe one day IL get one and see what it's all about bit at the moment things are difficult times thanks again.
I have often considered it, but I feel like they would be best suited to a tracker due to their narrow beam width (well in comparison to the super wide beam of the pepperbox). I guess for you it's easier with having them in a fixed location. I've watched your downhill video a few times again, still my favourite FPV video that exists, my favourite style of flying, amazing location, very skilful. I'd love to see more about your setup :)
@@AdamGdoesFPV Thanks for the flowers :) I hear you. I only meant for this specific flight here. Even with the 100degrees less beam you would get 9km width on your mountain in 8km distance. Following that nice river back does look perfect for the Gatling. You could go much lower then her true strength is the penetration! I flew a season with PB and Crosshair. It was a WOW moment using a Gatling for the first time :) Are you on RCGroups?
@@stuweFPV Yeah I would love to try a Gatling, they're not cheap but maybe I might have to put it on the wishlist as you've got me very tempted now! I'm going to try this river flight again and see if I can get a lot lower, maybe with my ZCon :D Yeah I'm on RCGroups
you've probably been asked this before but what is the secret to launching the Skyhunter. I have one using Daragonlink, Futaba 14Sg and Eagletree Vector and half the time I hand launch, I hit the ground. Tried adding up trim to take off but there has to be something I'm missing. Thanks for any advice
Hi, I used MFD autopilot on my Skyhunter and I used launch mode. For the price of a vector I can’t believe it never had a launch mode 😬 I think maybe some uptrim and some form of stabilisation (is it 2D hold or something on a vector?) is what people have been using
This is mesmerizing to watch. Unfortunately I live in a country where Long range and FPV needs approvals from Defense ministry, CAA, wildlife ministry, forest ministry and etc... 😭

Glad you enjoyed it. My friend now owns this Skyhunter so it may make an appearance again one day 😎
I literally have a tear forming in my eye from this video....
Cheers Mike, I appreciate your great feedback💙
Beautiful flight and scenery. This looks exactly like the foothills of the Wicklow mountains close to me.
Thanks 😃 there's a very good reason it looks like the foothills of the Wicklow mountains 😉
A glorious Viking sendoff to a great plane.
Thanks :) One of my favourite flights with it too!
Beautiful.. again. Good job.
Thank you 🙏😁
you have the most beatiful fpv videos man, thanks for sharing
Thank you so much 👍
Nice flight Beautiful countryside. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching! I do love this flying spot!
Now thats what i am talking about! Very cool flight! 🖖🇺🇸🐾🐾🐾
Probably one of the most fun flights i've done in a while. Thanks for watching :)
An FPV wet dream...lol...Epic M8, you pushed it on that one....🤔🤔😳😳😳😎
Cheers mate... I plan on pushing it even further on this river run some time soon ;-)
Very well done, amazing ride! Really inspiring stuff!
Thanks for watching and for the great feedback 🙌🏻
Amazing flight, the scenery is even more amazing.

awesome. don't think about flying below a bridge with that selfie stick :D

Nice one, Mr G!
Thanks 😁😁👍🏻
Nice editing and great music track, awesome flying and big kahuna's for the low level river. Thanks for another EPIC video!
Thanks for the great feedback 😎 I do like this Avicii track, not his usual style but went well with this flight 👍🏻 I’m going to attempt this river run a lot lower soon 🤪
Rated! Very nice. Great to see the SH again.
Glad you enjoyed it! It's a great plane!
So damn beautiful!
Thanks 😊
Skyhunter has proven itself to be a great fpv ship... Hope you won't regret selling it 😁
We shall see! Worst case scenario is I miss it and build another :P
That’s fantastic.
Thanks Stuart :D
That is legendary. Just wow. Congrats. 👏👌
Thanks :D I appreciate the feedback!
You're pushing boundries old bean .Well done.
I plan to push further so keep tuned :D Thanks for watching
Nice flight 👍👍👍👍
Thanks :D
Like the plane, always have, very cool with the 360 cam, scenery was awesome, and great flying bro. R.I.P. Sir SkyHunter.
Thanks 👍 the 360 is crazy and just adds a new perspective that you don't see too often :)
This is great! Well done !
Thanks for watching and commenting :D
Great video that works well the dragon link

Amazing video!!! Next search. Insta 360!!!! ( or whatever it’s called! ) Looks the nuts!!
Yeah it's an awesome camera! I've made a FPV focused review video on it if you check my channel :)
Absolutely Epic mate 😎
Cheers mate :D

This was a fun flight!
Thanks for tips. Looking for the most efficient fpv long range airplane with nose platform for pan/tilt. Considering Talon mini as most obvious choice. Wondering is there any flying wings with big enough nose platform.
Mini Talon is an obvious choice you're right. If you want something bigger and very efficient, the Mini Crosswind would be an excellent option.
Wow.... great video! Nice camera look!!
Thanks a lot! The 360 is crazy
Very nice.
Thank you! Cheers!
super video !
Thank you very much!
How do u manage to fly it so far away without connection error? Great video btw
I use Dragonlink for control and 1.3g video. With the video it's receiver antennas that are the important part. Cheers
Hi I know you put a full parts list. But was the osmo the 360 camera that you used? Thanks!
Hi, no the Osmo doesn't do 360. It was the Insta360 ONE X ► tiny.cc/Insta360oneX cheers
Amazing job once again. So, if this is the final flight for the sky hunter, what's next for you? What's the next airframe to break more records?

Awesome content please keep it coming!
More to come! Thanks for watching :D
what did you do with the sky Hunter after its Final flight ?
Hey, I sold it to make way for new projects 😊
Your skyhunter videos have been an inspiration to me over the past many years. Good bye, skyhunter! You will be missed!
Thanks Daniel, great to hear :D I appreciate the feedback
Nice !

Yeah 2020 has been a weird one. It’s a good all rounder, worth trying when you’re ready 👍🏻
WOW Adam holy crap man that was an amazing flight!
Thanks :D I think it was one of my favourite flights this year!
Ok Adam - think I'm going to start FPV again!
Why did you ever stop? I used to watch your Skyhunter videos before I ever owned one. Get that Skyhunter back out :D

Thanks 😁
another great video Adam!! How does it handle with the equivalent of a crane hanging off the front 😂?
hahaha! Surprisingly well! I thought it was going to be a handful but it almost felt no different to normal :-O
Adam G does FPV oh ace! I have been on the fence on putting a stabilised gimbal on or going the 360 route on the sky hunter.
@@lordgeorgemaster New tech in cameras these days make gimbals redundant in my opinion. Depends what you want from it though i guess :)
Wow very nice! Not much video breakups.
Glad you liked it! I'll be back with more river run videos, hoping to get a lot lower still :D
@@AdamGdoesFPV I want to do test flight with your airplane lol
😆

You can bend the rules slightly 🤫😇😂
Yeah these are really more like fancy toys than aircraft that can do damage.
Hi, do you use notch filter for 1.3ghz?
Nope 😊
What prop are you using?
12x6. Full kit list with links are in the video description 👍🏻
hi adam. how you make the video infront of the aircraft
Insta360 ONE X ► tiny.cc/Insta360oneX
I want to live here
It’s a great location. Just a few mins outside county Dublin
how well does that battery fit
Battery is huge but the space in the Skyhunter is mad. Could fit 2 of these batteries no problem
How does this aircraft do wihtout rudders?
As per video... very well 😊 just fly it like a delta wing, I’ve never been a big rudder user anyway.
Your skyhunter videos have been an inspiration to me front Jun 1, 2016 ua-cam.com/video/1HgDiqvrb3E/v-deo.html you are the reason why a in fly FPV
Great to hear! I love it when my videos inspire others to have a go themselves! Thanks for the great feedback and for your support!
