About 5:44 "Social proof": Getting really well-worded testimonials, I don't find that easy unless the contact in has a talent for that sort of thing. Then you might only get the answer like „Everything great, anytime again“ or that kind of 😁

Ja se vodio time da posle nekoliko projekta uradim svoj portfolio jer su svi u fazonu koji mi dele savete da kao bez toga nemoj da trazis nigde nista :D. Do duse jos samo malo svez u ovome. :D
@@boki-tech9976 po pitanju teksta za sajt komotno koristi chatGPT, izvrti par iteracija datog unosa pa izaberi najbolje delove. Ok je meni ingliš nego nemam si toliki vokabular pa je taman AI pomogao. A sajt je konacno odradjen, html uklapah nekako. Ofc nikad zadovoljan no fin je za osnovu ^^
Hey Ran. I'm wondering whether you would have any advice for how to put together a good portfolio site when the types of work/clients are quite different? Create case studies.
You need to show you have a systemic process of turning a challenge brief into a creative solution. Show steps and thought process for taking certain design decisions.
Clients want to know if a designer knows what he/she is doing.

@@FluxAcademy It has been a year since the comment about the design portfolio handbook button not working properly and the button still has not been fixed. None of the other handbook download buttons (e.g., Complete Guide To Choosing Fonts, The Complete Guide For Choosing Colors, Color Psychology For Designers) work either.
One of my competitors doesn't even bother to explain each of his projects all he does is upload a screen shot. Unbelievable that he gets so much work.
Maybe he gets work by word of mouth for example he may of done several good projects that his clients liked and because of that they recommended him to other people
Those clients are all about aesthetics. It will be boring work.
All developers watching this got triggered upon seeing "WebFlow" and "Developer" next to each other 🤣
