I laughed at how he said "good acting is crying" and then realized my favorite performance of his, in Atonement, includes some solid crying scenes. What a wild first acting experience story, too!
James creates a Vortex of Scottish Charm all by himself. For those of you who have seen the clip of James on Craig Ferguson from way back in the day, you know what I'm talking about.
I just showed my kids Narnia. Baby James as a fawn ❤ PENELOPE was also another fav. James is one of my fav actors. Damn talented! 😂😂 thank you for this conversation and all the laugh out loud moments
He is so talented - amazing performance in "Split." The way he transitioned from one personality to another was masterful! Especially towards the end, when the transitions were so rapid - you could see each personality just through his facial expressions and body language before he even said a word. Absolutely one of my all-time favorite actors!
watching you two banter, and James' semi-adversarial relationship with the audience gave me so much joy, thank you. i fucked myself up with too little sleep and have been struggling all day, it's really nice to turn in in on a cheery note. :) come to Kennywood Park!! it's no Cedar Point but we've got beautiful views of the steel mill across the river! also the Thunderbolt, a truly kickass wooden coaster! and the only Turtle coaster in the states, so you can experience the hardest thrills the Victorian era had to offer. also the Jackrabbit, which feels like it's going to bounce you out of the seat, it's amazing. I'm not doing it justice but it's really a fun park.
First film I saw him in was "Rory O'Shea Was Here," and I instantly fell in love with him and his amazing talent - I sought out everything else he'd done straight away so I could see more of his work, and am still always on the lookout for new projects and/or anything I might have missed. He's absolutely one of my all-time favorite actors... And he's hot af ❤
Not sure if this was a mixup or an overlooked joke, but James's "and the rest as they say...is that" was a pretty funny mixed metaphor (between "the rest is history" and "that is that")
2:18 O James faz coisas de um jeito tão engraçado kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk Eu amo como o James conta suas histórias, ele é tão genuíno e engraçado! Eu fiquei feliz e rindo o tempo todo
Love James, love Andy!!! I’ve been to Hershey Park. The Hershey story is very interesting. I stayed at a BnB that was a home for orphans. Living in Canada at the time(US citizen). Told my neighbors about the trip. Turns out my neighbor’s father was an orphan from Hershey.
I’ve found Seth & Josh’s podcast is a few weeks behind, from his questions here you can tell they’ve discussed it and I bet James is on it in a couple weeks!
what a natural opening question that as to ask. really keeping up the illusion that this isnt the second time both of them are saying all the things here
I grew up in Berrien Springs, Michigan, where Muhammad Ali had a farm… he would drive around town in his convertible Cadillac, my mom moved us here from Connecticut because my dad died and she got her degree in three years with four kids… Muhammad Ali would show up in the cafeteria at Andrews University, and do magic tricks for the kids… in fact when his widow sold the farm by Saint Joseph River, my ex-boyfriend myself, and a friend of mine moved the last of his and her things down to Louisville, Kentucky… I ex-boyfriend Muhammad Ali pinball machine, I got a leather boxing ball that he would jab with (the kind you hang from a ceiling), and it was a very cool, but strange experience….😂❤❤❤❤
So James McAvoy and I share a childhood fair ride obsession that lasts 'til today. That's not nothing, if I was a girl I'd think that's my foot in the door😂
Okay, but imagine the absolute CHAOS if James and Seth went day drinking…
maybe even at a THEME PARK! 😆
Mamma mia
And then talking about their family vacations with Seth’s brother Gavin Newsom.
I want to see that so much it hurts.
You really should watch his interviews with Craig Ferguson on the Late Late Show. Scottish vortex of charm, and pure chaos! 😅
oh geez not another jojo episode 😂

A real bromance here.

Remember when James McAvoy was a young, naive guy in the Last King of Scotland? Time flies.
i am so in love with him !!
Oh wow, what a great interview! Hilarious and entertaining. I wish they had discussed the darkness of the circus more, I've also felt it.
idk if I'll ever get over James spending so much time loving on PA theme parks 😂

It’s cultural; a Scottish thing. Billy Connelly has a similar skill.

Whomever suggested dressing James Mcavory all in black….thank you.

If you look at his sitting position before he stood, with one leg tucked under him, that was a recipe for thigh/hamstring cramp. So no surprise

I will say that suit is pretty elegant.
Funny story, I auditioned for Streetwise when I was a young struggling actor. Didn’t get the part cause I was sh*t at ringing a bike. I was bad 😂🤣😅🤣

Mr. McAvoy would make a great impish elf. Has he played one? Imagine him in the outfit.
