I think the saying “less is more” applies to this, and I don’t mean less videos, I mean less production/editing…we’re all men here watching other men work, I enjoy just seeing the raw process with some time lapses and commentary in between just like how you’ve always done! Guys like you and letsdig and tristate have all influenced how I film and edit my videos!!

Just getting my channel started last year and most don’t realize how much goes into it all. Lots of times I’ll end up deleting my intro because I didn’t film enough of what I was doing to make a video worth watching. It’s very time consuming but I’m pressing on. At this point if I can get 1 a week out I’m happy. Kudos to you, Sam and Brandon. Been watching you guys for a while now 👍🏼

Todd, life is busy. Juggling time is a struggle for many, myself included. It’s worth waiting for each of your videos. They help a lot. Todd, what is the most time-consuming process for you? Filming or editing? Which do you like least, if any? Would it be better to get someone to edit or do you think they may not get the content you prefer? Thanks for the info.
Hey Scott!!! I would guess I spend more time editing. I tried having someone do my editing and I don’t think some is capable of piecing the videos together without a good knowledge of how the work is done
@DigginLife21 I understand. I taught video editing to high school students and then made online educational videos for a college. I learned a lot by filming and editing diferent topics. I produced educational videos in nursing, dental, a/c, bricklaying, firefighting, welding, desiel mechanics, mathematics, and culinary arts. It does take knowledge of a topic to perform proper editing. While it may not require full knowledge, a minimum is to know the process. But the more one knows, the better. I do feel for you because it usually took us 10 hours of editing for each hour of filming.
Life is super busy for everyone these days. You do a great job Todd. If I had another operator I trusted I’d probably jump at that Yanmar. You are correct. Trying to find and buy a dump now and it’s coming down to the wire. Got a couple jobs lined up and renting is getting scarce also. Things are picking up a little bit
I don’t always get notifications and I’ve been subscribed for years. Sometimes I have to just do a manual search. Probably missed some along the way, but I always enjoy the one I catch! 👍👍👍
