I found something out that was really interesting. The season 8 we got was not the planned season 8. There was an entirely different season planned but they couldn’t figure out a way to have the wizards of the black circle and Valtor join. So they tossed the first 12 episode away and had to rush to redo 12 episodes.
The episode that were not planned are episode 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12, 26.
The final episode of season 8 was valtor destroying the Earth while both bloom’s parents are on it sending her into a full blow rage as dark Bloom. Unfortunately because of the suck problems they had to change it and put icy as a focus which was planned to be part of season 9 stuff happens

1 Valtor had no idea bloom was spelled and she didn’t defeat her dark self correctly. Roxy may be a Believix fairy but it’s most likely drastically weaken because she hasn’t pass the Charmix test or the enchantix Test. That is why Roxy wasn’t able to do much against the wizards. Sure she got lucky a few times but since she is a newbie fairy there is no way she could stand against valtor. However I left something out. Valtor only pretends to destroy the earth. And the Winx go against the idea of hunting bloom down. But that’s was supposed to be a season 9 arc where the Winx are force to fight faragonda
Musa, either casual or formal, masculine or feminine, she slays. This is one of the reasons why she's my favorite Winx.

Other anime recommendations I would give are Shugo Chara, Jewelpet (it's a whole franchise like PreCure so it'll keep you busy), Mermaid melody and Tokyo mew mew.
As for cartoons: Lolirock, Angel's friends and maybe Miraculous Ladybug, because that was a big disappointment

I'm noticing that they barely change Flora's hair. The only changes I see are some flower ornaments and her enchantix hair, which just add buns. Justice for Flora!

When it comes to Season 1 gowns,I specifically prefer Bloom's dress from the comics.The one the animated show went with wasn't bad,but the look of the comic dress is very beautiful. I would recommend people look up Winx Club comics to see what I'm talking about.

I have to say that "The Lost Kingdom" dresses have some unique details.
For example, Layla has swamp flowers all over her dress and the shape reminds a little bit to Tiana's dress from The princess and the frog.
Musa's dress is some kind of chinese hanfu (is it spelled like that?), since her background is mostly chinese.
Flora has some flower details and the dress has the shape of a flower.
Tecna has a professional look with the blazer, something that suits her being the geek of the group.
Stella and Bloom dresses are the most "random" ones, since the only personal touch they have is the color (Yellow for Stella and blue for Bloom).
And Musa's dress in season 3 is just...... Goodness, that was a PERFECT dress.
@Will N I know that The princess and the frog came later, but the dress has a similar shape, like some kind of water lily with white flowers all around.
I don't know if it's the best shape for Layla since her homeworld is more ocean related, but after all a swamp is another water based environment like her powers. So I guess it has some logic 🤷🏻♂️
i personally love thre Bloom's dark blue dress. My favourite one out of all. I think we should see more her wearing some, on my opinion -- more mature colours. Without the flashy pink

I absolutely HATED those Flower Princess dresses, especially the fact that Bloom's gown was obviously more grand and elaborate than the others..... well, majority of these ballgowns, Bloom always ends up with the most detailed, aesthetically pleasing-looking gowns. It lowkey pissed me off, especially since Stella's the fashion goddess and has often been seen with the least attractive looking ensembles. Robbery, I say.

Watched both videos and realized they really don't even try when it comes to Flora lol (even with hairstyles). They could give her other colours besides pink and green. Hopefully next season they'll try with Flora cause a light blue would look nice on her.

I really wish Tecna’s formal gowns (and fairy forms) kept the sci fi aesthetic she started out with. I want to see more examples of what formal attire from zenith looks like.
I really like the season 3 gowns on their own, but when you put them together, there's just WAAAAAY too much shades in the pink-to-purple department. I drowns out all the other colors, except maybe Tecna's green
Yeah i noticed when i was little that they were all connected colorwise with their roommate (ie bloom/flora with pink; tecna and musa with purple; but since aisha didn't exist with stella in the begining they didn't really mesh well but they didn't irl either so all good
Fr, And Blooms season 3 dress was so ugly, just by itself. It made her look like an ironing board, which, no hate to flat people, but the entire show she had a decent chest, and they got rid of it here. Also, the ruffles on the atrocious neckline, and the sleeves, was too cluttered especially with the thick band and little blobs on the chest being right there

I’m still forever so sad that Stella didn’t get that red dress in season 2. I loved that dress so much as a kid and it’s just one of those images that’s always stuck with me.
I also love Musa’s looks so much!!! And I always kind of hated Bloom’s, and now that I’m older I understand that it’s because I personally do not Stan the empire waists. Some people can pull them off but man it’s just not a look I tend to like much.
Ok we need to appreciate and acknowledge that Techna slays in all her gowns and hairstyles. She can wear the most weird one and tge most girly oneand still look gorgeus!!! Except Musa and Layla, Techna looked wow in s6 and 7 horrific gowns!!! Yeah she is just pretty 😍😍😍

My favorite outfits of all time was from WOW when Stella and the french girl had a fashion off! And omg Flora and Musa looked Amazing!
Trumpet skirt is pretty self explanatory, empire waist is a waistline below the bust, Regency era was the 1810s and A-line basically just means slim dress.

Season 3's gowns will forever be ICONIC, i remembered being a little kid, obsessing over the dresses, trying to redraw them, ughhh they're just GORGEOUS, and express the girls' personality rlly well too, i love that episode. And i agree with the uniform-ish outfits in the latter seasons, i dont like that either, i love how in the 1st to 3rd season they have very unique, high fashion, stunning outfits that compliments their personality and each others' outfits, from like season 6 their outfits all look the same just with different colors. Also i totally somehow forgot about season 1's gown and when u brought it up its like my whole childhood crashed right into me! The nostalgia!!!
I mean Stella's season 3 gown even looked good when she was in monster form and I think that says it all.

I love these fashion talks. I plan on making a fashion line called Cosplay Couture that turns outfits from magical kid shows and superhero shows into outfits that can switch from Cosplay that is so faithfully accurate as hell that you could swear that it was taken straight out of the show, to normal street wear, business casual wear, swimwear, winter wear, etc. Just by removing, adding, or moving around a few accessories. For example if i wanted to make Aisha's season one Winx outfit it would be able to double as functional swimwear with the removal of the wings and boots. Her Charmix accessories would come free with a faithfully scaled charm and a sports waterbottle shaped like her bag. Honestly all of Aisha's cosplay outfits will double as functional swimwear, Icy's would be winter wear, Stella's would be Summer fashion or even pajamas, tecna's would be more business wear, and musa would be street wear, flora, bloom, stormy, and darcy would be a bit more universal since their outfits don't fall into any one type of setting. I mean Darcy's outfits could be for clubbing and stormy's for rain, but still...

Thanks! I have been toying with the idea ever since i watched Go! Princess Pretty Cure, and realized just how much Cure Mermaid's outfits could work as Swimwear (CQC Mermaid form), Winter Wear (Mode Elegant Ice), ballroom gowns, (Mode Elegant Mermaid, Ice, and Bubble), and even a wedding dress (Premium Coral Form). With a free princess perfume bottle with the respective dressup keys that act as the perfume refills when inserted like in the anime. Each one with scents that bring to mind the respective powers obviously. For her normal Cure Mermaid outfit it will come with a removable skirt extention to convert it from the swim suit style to the more ballroom looking design in Mode Elegant Mermaid. Her ice gown will have removable lining to convert it into a functional wintergown. And the bubble gown...still working on the details for that. As it could just be another swimsuit/swimgown but i dont want it to be redundant

@Will N thank you for your opinion:) Although i don't see how Onyrix reflects girls personalities in any sense ...it's basically the same stereotypically feminine outfit with just different color for each girl.
@Will N yeah but still it's pretty underwhelming compared to the earlier transformations. I would even consider Believix a better transform than Onyrix...even though it's too glittery and overdecorated, i like it. Basic winx and Enchantix are still the best. transformations.

The same style outfits do make sense to a degree. They're friends who have access to the same stores. They're style's start to draw from each other because they spend a lot of time together and they live in the same world with the same stores and trends. Now there is the broader magical universe which is barely explored but yes there should be more variation in their clothing.

I think it's cool that Aisha's season 3 dress has exactly THAT skirt, which is also called a mermaid style... You know, water? Mermaids? Get it?
I think it's great that Musa is getting so much love, I remember when I was little she and Tecna were literally noones favourite.
I think it's honestly because Musa was often dresses in tomboyish clothes, and both her and Tecna didn't have long hair (in season one), as well as them never really wearing much pink.
My personal favourite fairy was Flora, I absolutely loved her.
Followed by Stella and Aisha.
Whenever we played Winx club during break everyone was fighting over who got to be which fairy 😂 and inevitably someone would be upset because "I don't want to be Tecna!!"
Tecna slays, and so does Musa, but style wise I still prefer Stella and Flora's looks most of the time.
Overall I agree with you but I love the season 5 flower gowns, especially Stella's. Not more than the ones you placed higher but I still think they look beautiful. I really love Flora's s1 prom dress, Musa's s3 ballgown and Bloom's Secret of the lost kingdom gown!
Also I'm surprised by s8! I never watched this one and I hate the art style but damn, these gowns are beautiful! Especially in the old art style they look stunning!
Season 3 is the best! No competition over there! It's amazing how the design is more intricate yet still maintaining the art style from prev seasons! The girls have their own clothes designs which is highly appreciated. The same outfit in different colours from the later seasons is really boring... T.T
I kind of wish Musa kept her short hair longer. While she does look amazing with long hair, a lot of young girls who have a hard time growing their hair out don't think their pretty enough or at all. So I think that representation is also important. Yeah, you could point out Tecna and you would be right. But she's the only one. None of the other girls in the later season have short or medium length hair. Plus for some reason Tecna was never really popular
The flower gowns look like something that Isabella from Disney's Encanto would wear because Isabella has the gift to grow flowers I think Isabella and Flora would get along so well because they both have the power to grow flower somebody should do a fan art of Flora from Winx Club and Isabella from Encanto meeting each other that would be amazing😁
I really love the dresses that the Winx club wore on season 5 because of the flowers they are so beautiful and I love the dresses they wore for the first movie also I love Stella's dress that she wore to her princess ball in season 3 Also I love the dresses that the girls wore at the party in season 3 especially Bloom's dress that one is my favorite. You should the trix outfits next. And I love Bloom's outfit for the dance in season 1 it's so pretty.

tbh the "Aisha and Musa look the best" is completely biased, in the season 7 yes i agree, but in season 6 gowns or flower gowns, Musa's dress was ugly save for the color, but STELLA's holy, that dress was the only that looked somewhat decent, and Stella is not even my Fav winx
Okay, but the Season 5 gowns were atrocious (barring Aisha's even though the skirt is kind of a nightmare) and I genuinely thought they were Season 7 aka the "nature-themed" season. I actually think the Season 6 gowns are much cuter, mainly because my first thought when I saw them wasn't 'kill it with fucking fire'. I won't lie, there's a lot more purple in the gowns than I would like, but I appreciate that they played with the girls' colour palettes because hello, Flora in all green??? They haven't put Flora in all green since Season 2, and I'm probably making that up, but I get so excited when the girls aren't put in their usual colours (like, I despise WOW and everything it stands for, but Flora's green bodysuit was everything to me). Musa in orange is also something I love because I remember them using orange accents in her Season 3 everyday look and it would've been really cool to see her in orange for her Season 8 look since they had Stella in purple. I love Aisha's look as well because yes to her in yellow, I just wished they used a different shade of purple, or maybe even blue or green as her accent colour. And I honestly thought I was the only screeching for Stella in lunar-inspired fashion because her in that blue gown actually made me cry.
I'm so glad you included rosesweety's fanart because otherwise I would've said the Season 6 gowns were better when they're clearly not, the Season 8 gowns are so much better. Bloom's gown felt reminiscent of her Season 1, 3 and Lost Kingdom gowns (the poufy skirt gave off major Lost Kingdom vibes, but the underskirt with the layer reminds me of her Season 3 gown, especially with the flower detailing; plus the shoulder accents are very similar to the top for her Season 1 dance look). Musa's is also a lot like her Season 3 gown because first of all, she's in red again, and I loved the asymmetrical cut they did for her top (this is gonna sound so weird, but Aisha was actually the one who usually got put in more asymmetrical styles, especially in Season 2, so it's kinda cool that they carried that over for Musa). And the colour of Aisha's dress is absolutely gorgeous (more Aisha in yellows and blue-greens!). But I will say, I do think that Tecna and Flora's gowns feel like they received the least amount of thought and effort in terms of unique design, especially Flora's.
I forgot how much I actually liked the Magical Adventure gowns! Aisha looks fantastic in emerald green, and if you look closely, the middle I guess waist section of the gown has a kind of shell or coral reef type of design - it's aquatic, I'm not a fashion person (it's also seen in the little frills of her skirt). Tecna and Musa look adorable and Flora looks like a fucking QUEEN. Also, more of that gold-orange hue for Stella!
The Lost Kingdom gowns are also highly underrated and have the best design of all the gowns (I still agree with your ranking wholeheartedly though, they could've been as iconic as the Season 1 and 3 gowns if we saw them for more than 3 seconds). I just think that this is the most unique that the girls' dresses have ever looked and there is virtually no overlap in colour or design or anything really. Bloom in dark blue, Stella in fucking yellow goddammit. The gloves for Bloom, Flora and Aisha are fantastic; also, I swear I thought Stella had gloves, but it kinda' looks like she has golden bangles or maybe a ribbon going up her arms instead which is such a cool look for her. I also appreciate the red-orange accents of Flora's gown as a nod to her Season 3 everyday look (they did the same in Magical Adventure!). Tecna in blazers is always amazing and I think Musa's look is my favourite. I really miss seeing Musa in East-Asian-inspired fashion (I can't tell if it's particularly inspired by Chinese fashion or not, sorry!) because that representation was (and is still) so important and we haven't had that from Musa in a very long time (I don't want to say this was the last time the made an effort in Musa's style in this sort of way, but I strongly feel like it was).
Love it. While I have nostalgia for most of these S3 is surely the best and most fitting for each girl. Love this give us more stuff like this!

From all the gowns in this list, the season 6 gowns were for sure the PRETTIEST. They all look gorgeous in the dresses and especially love the purple corset belt on flora and blooms high and low dress with the frills. Live Stella's hair the most and the soft blue with the little yellow parts was so cute and elegant on her. Honestly their best look. I had a feeling the outfits got worst the more we went on. Overall. I did like some of the gowns for the others ones but not overall. There was always one or 2 that didn't look as good. But for the season 6 one, they all looked gorgeous. Overall. Season 3 had the best Musa dress tho.
Are you serious?? Season 6 gown?? There's no uniqueness about it generic gowns plus copy paste gowns from each other it's too big uglyy buggy.

I LOVED when their dress also had it's own esthetic from whatever planet/world they're from, Musa, tecna and flora iften had those things about their clothes that made them distinct
As a tailor, I LOVE a show that has fashion and if its well balanced! I agree that after season 3 many dresses and designs they gave Winx don't fit well as they are just one model, slightly altered and decorated.
