Ren Ren 7 hours ago (edited) I don't know why I find it so hard to share this information, I guess because I never wanted to make my health problems my identity, I feel like Ren the person is so much more than Ren the health victim, but if this journey I'm on can help anyone else going through the same thing, its worth swallowing my pride. A lot of people have been asking me for my treatment update, and ive been replying individually but then getting a lot of emails and messages which is quite overwhelming to try and respond to them all, especially during treatment, so I'd be super grateful if anyone sees comments on my videos/posts etc asking how treatments going if you could point them in the direction of this post. I've been treating here in canada for the past week and a half now. I sat down with the doctor and he explained last week that through all the extensive testing he did back in October, including lots of blood work ups, X-rays, samples etc. and MRI scans of my brain that the damage to my body from a having misdiagnosed Lyme disease and autoimmunity was quite extensive. There was significant damage to parts of my brain and many inflammatory markers in my body. The obvious markers of pathology were antibodies to the myelin in my brain, thyroid, adrenals, and bones and a condition called Mast Cell Activation Disorder which would explain my symptom picture quite well. To put it simply my immune cells have been attacking my own body. Because my immune systems been compromised by years of basically being at war by itself it has also held on to some long standing viral infections and not been able to detox things like mould/heavy metals/and toxins properly. Initially the plan was to be here for 3 months but because of the complexity of what's going on he's said i'll need to be here for 6 months minimum. It's a lot to wrap my head around having to be away from friends, family and a successful career and almost feels like a total juxtaposition to the fact that my music is blowing up right now and spreading to all corners of the world, but thats life, we take the good with the bad. The good news is because we now know what's wrong, we now have a road map for healing. I know its not going to be an easy path, but I know its one im determined to walk. I had to quit smoking cold turkey last week for obvious reasons while going through treatment which was one of my crutches for when I was stressed, so have felt the withdrawals messing with my mood a bit this week, but i've got a solid reason to quit, so I'm just bareknucling it. Im currently going into the clinic for IV's every Monday to Friday for an hour, firstly trying to build my body up by correcting all the nutritional deficiencies that were found due to being on a restricted diet for so long, and also implementing a lot of stress reduction techniques to get my body optimised for healing. Also found some low grade inflammation from some dental problems so will be going in for surgery to correct that in February to ensure theres nothing contributing to inflammation in my body. Once i'm in a stronger place to deal with it I'll start treating with antivirals and more aggressive treatments. The most positive thing, is I looked my doctor in the eye, who is used to treating countless very complex cases, and asked him, if theres a chance I can get back to being in a pain free body with the energy of a healthy person, and he said if I stick to this, there is a good chance I can either get my autoimmunity into remission and recover or at least make enough improvements to live a much more comfortable life. Want to thank everyone for supporting my music because thats been the best silver lining to this I could have asked for, reading through comments of support for Hi Ren and Sick Boi has really elevated my spirits, and having an exciting future to look forward too makes this process much easier, so thank you! When someone comes along and raises the bar of what’s possible in any activity, it elevates the activity to those participating by making everyone’s expectations and effort rise and they tend to elevate the whole game to new levels and aspirations. It has happened since the beginning of time. A four minute mile was once thought impossible, now every good distance runner can do it. 2. People who make those comments are putting you down in hopes of making themselves feel better about about their inability to reach that level. 3. People are comparing you to Harry Mack, in my book that’s a win! 4. If everyone compared themselves to the Top in their field and gave up we wouldn’t have Google, Apple, Facebook, LeBron James, Eminem, and just about everyone and everything else wonderful and great in the world. When I first heard Ren...it was Hi Ren...I cried twice ...first time I saw it...once about halfway through and again at the end. I ended up crying 20 to 30 times then before I could finally watch without crying. Then I started watching reaction videos of Hi Ren and saw that a lot of people were emotionally moved by the message in the song. It wrecked me because of the BEAUTY of the performance. Just the reverb trail at the end before Ren speaks probably made me cry 10 times. I know... I know...
This was performed live, and in one take. You really need to look into his backstory. He had a rough go of it for about 10 years. Misdiagnosed with schizophenia, dropped from Sony before ever producing any music because of it, and dealing with his actual illness, that turned out to be Lyme's disease.

I’m so glad you talked about your experience w battling your mind about freestyling too! I’m a lyricist of 18 years, before falling into writers Block since 2013. (Started rhyming in’95) Recently, between this track and NF’s Hope, I’ve been inspired & Happy because I’ve only written 4 rhymes that I actually like since 2013 & 2 of them (newer for me, written in 2020 & 2021) are about Mental Health and I’ve been wanting to do an album about my physical & mental health, but have been battling myself the same way, thinking Em, MF Doom, NF & now Ren + others have already done it. I"m another person who has seen Hi Ren I don't know how many times now, from the original video popping up in my suggestions to watching the countless reaction videos. It still hits home on so many levels each time. Sometimes giving me the sniffles or getting me outright sobbing, depending on my emotional state at the moment. I'm so glad that It showed up in my UA-cam feed and that Ren is getting so much recognition. He calls this genre "bardcore". which I think is a fabulous name. encompassing telling his story through music and getting a bit hardcore with his guitar playing and the tonal contrast he gets.

I’m rewatching this just a couple days after the sick boi album came out. I just love watching and rewatching people discover Ren. And knowing how this affects you and your life is just so cool. The best is how UA-cam can help bring exposure to so many things. Somehow the rabbit hole brought me to Harry Mack and became and instant fan. Then through Harry Mack I was exposed to your channel. Your reactions are awesome and love how your break things down and gives me a different perspective to look at things. Then yesterday I got exposed to Ren which a recent video you mentioned him but I didn’t go check it out…random video suggested for me was Hi Ren. After listening to it I was blown away and after processing it all I was like damn Black Pegasus gotta react to it! And here you were already on it. Keep doing what you doing!
Ren wrote this, direct quote here about his struggles. "Years before I was diagnosed correctly with autoimmunity, Lyme disease, and brain damage I was misdiagnosed as bipolar and spent years bouncing back and forth between therapists and trialing different antidepressants all the while getting worse and worse. With lots of things in life we expect to see fairly linear results rewarding the effort we put in. We put in the work, and are rewarded for our efforts. When you put in monumental levels of effort doing self work, stress reduction techniques, CBT, self affirmations, following strict medication regimes with pills with a long list of side effects, and end up worse it’s a really defeating and confusing place to be because it contradicts everything we’ve been taught. It shakes your trust in the medical system. I wanted to write something which captured the frustration of this journey. I wanted to write something which expressed all the things I wish I’d said to my doctors and therapists at the time, but didn’t have the words too."
Also, yes Ren is from the UK. He's simply a musician. He raps, he sings, he mixes music, he plays guitar in different bands, he's spent many years busking and trying to start different bands. He even had a "boy band" about a decade ago that didn't get much traction. He had Lyme disease that went untreated for nearly a decade and caused a lot of irreversible health issues for him, so he'll never be 100%. During that time he claims he had a voice talking to him. He does loads of covers, everything from Bob Marley to top pop songs. Several of his videos are just of him walking around the streets of his neighborhood singing and playing.
Brooooooo, really hit me when i heard you had doubts about freestyling and thinking to stop, PLEASE NEVER STOP!!! Honestly love the sound of your voice when you freestlye and the themes you bring in and the connections your mind makes, but most importantly i just feel you have an incrediblly distinct freestyle voice. You may not be as technical as Harry Mack but your freestlyes honestly have sometimes outdone some of his when you get in your bag and you start flowinggg, can definitely tell you have had a decent amount of experience in the past. Prefer the routes your freestyle starts taking and the fun you have with it, personally its all about seeing the enjoyment of the freestyler and them having fun with it and experimenting. Like stand-up comedy, sometimes you will be absolutely amazing and sometimes you may miss the mark, but you'll never know if you dont keep experimenting and learning. Never stop your freestyle game as long as you are still having fun with it, you have loads of fans who love the content just as much

Sometimes i think im on BP's channel cuz he'll upload like 2 weeks of content. scroll through through like a dozen vids and be lucky if even 1 is released yet. you paused it on the most important and powerful line to me and likely many others, when he says I'm the voice that you hear when you loosen the noose on the rope.
The Lucifer breakdown IMO is the toxic part of his shadow asserting its integral and eternal, plus attempting to gain ultimate dominance. And it overwhelms the light side Ren, whom we don't hear again. But the Ren coming out afterward is the new Intergrated Ren, the Ren who isn't trying to suppress his darkness but is accepting it and embracing it -- dancing with it, as well as with his lown light. And thus becoming bigger than both.
This is also reflected musically. The dark side of him is somewhat discordant at parts, and during the Lucifer breakdown it's super chromatic and ugly as shit, while the light side Ren is always on-key and pretty. But, the main theme (the intro and outro) has elements of both. It's very musical and mostly on-key but then has a few chromatic elements (both in the guitar and the vocal melodies) that, to be honest, make it so much more interesting. He's better off with that part of him folded into the whole.

Hey guys you asked pertinent questions and were so insightful and thoughtful in your comments that you inspired me to go madly out on a limb with my own thoughts. Can’t be helped❤ so … Lots to unwrap with Ren. When you understand his severe and very long term health issues and misdiagnosis in plural, and the medical world experimenting with various drug therapies and treatments that made him into a sicker boi and telling him his illness must be all in his head because they could not diagnose correctly. The disease that attacked him and the pharmacological treatments may well have stifled his creativity and ability to perform and get his art out to the people and must have been so debilitating to a young man who needed to create and share. My understanding of ‘The Hunger’ goes a bit deeper than great rapping - the lyrics are very meaningful when looked at contextually, Metaphorically, symbolically psychologically Physically… The Big Push is disbanded at this time. Ren is in Canada going through some treatment hell, while his music is finally getting a far wider audience thanks to fabulous reactors such as yourselves and his loyal supporters, and it must be so hard for him. Before he got so sick he was on the verge of a recording deal with Sony. He went down like a tonne of bricks and his career was going down the toilet. How he got through those years of debilitating pain and distress I don’t know, but he made a decision not to be defeated by anything snd he would find ways to make his music and do everything to recover his health and sanity. The pig in his clips is perhaps a metaphor for the ‘snout in the trough’ perhaps greed , big pharma, capitalist consumerism under the guise of democracy. I’m getting too deep and raving like a loon and I dont ‘know’ REN’s life story - it’s just what I get from his lyrics and music and writings. I worry about him like I worry about my sons who are the same age and are going through some of the very same things. It’s a hell of a thing. That was such a ripping reaction guys. Not every composition from Ren will smack you in the face and wake you the heck up. Some are sweet soft sad melancholy and some are just great fun. I think maybe he feels the music he wanted to create as a young dude couldn’t be created through his Personel health struggles when he could barely raise his arms Lots of time to think think and think some more. He’s enjoying catching up to the hip hop rap I reckon. It’s hard to know what would have happened and what his music creations would be if he had never contracted a severe immunodeficiency disease. But we do know what he has been, and is creating now. It’s eclectic, unique versatile, old style, new style, Ren style and it’s reflective of his life experiences. His deeply personal works are meaningful for so many people who have suffered and are suffering or may yet suffer similar issues. His words can offer empathy, understanding and hope to the depressed, oppressed the lonely, the frightened, and the sick and suffering fellow humans. My hope is that he benefits from his current treatments and he can go on to compose and perform and produce more wonderful creations to make us smile, laugh, cry, grimace, groan, have ‘eureka!’ moments and just enjoy depth and the beauty of his music and poetry. I've found that many reactors suddenly decide to become truly vulnerable and share something about themselves that they haven't shared with others and I think it's spreading and connecting so many. We all needed Ren right here right now in 2023 gives me hope. Thank You

I don't know why I find it so hard to share this information, I guess because I never wanted to make my health problems my identity, I feel like Ren the person is so much more than Ren the health victim, but if this journey I'm on can help anyone else going through the same thing, its worth swallowing my pride.
A lot of people have been asking me for my treatment update, and ive been replying individually but then getting a lot of emails and messages which is quite overwhelming to try and respond to them all, especially during treatment, so I'd be super grateful if anyone sees comments on my videos/posts etc asking how treatments going if you could point them in the direction of this post.
I've been treating here in canada for the past week and a half now.
I sat down with the doctor and he explained last week that through all the extensive testing he did back in October, including lots of blood work ups, X-rays, samples etc. and MRI scans of my brain that the damage to my body from a having misdiagnosed Lyme disease and autoimmunity was quite extensive. There was significant damage to parts of my brain and many inflammatory markers in my body.
The obvious markers of pathology were antibodies to the myelin in my brain, thyroid, adrenals, and bones and a condition called Mast Cell Activation Disorder which would explain my symptom picture quite well. To put it simply my immune cells have been attacking my own body. Because my immune systems been compromised by years of basically being at war by itself it has also held on to some long standing viral infections and not been able to detox things like mould/heavy metals/and toxins properly.
Initially the plan was to be here for 3 months but because of the complexity of what's going on he's said i'll need to be here for 6 months minimum.
It's a lot to wrap my head around having to be away from friends, family and a successful career and almost feels like a total juxtaposition to the fact that my music is blowing up right now and spreading to all corners of the world, but thats life, we take the good with the bad.
The good news is because we now know what's wrong, we now have a road map for healing. I know its not going to be an easy path, but I know its one im determined to walk.
I had to quit smoking cold turkey last week for obvious reasons while going through treatment which was one of my crutches for when I was stressed, so have felt the withdrawals messing with my mood a bit this week, but i've got a solid reason to quit, so I'm just bareknucling it.
Im currently going into the clinic for IV's every Monday to Friday for an hour, firstly trying to build my body up by correcting all the nutritional deficiencies that were found due to being on a restricted diet for so long, and also implementing a lot of stress reduction techniques to get my body optimised for healing. Also found some low grade inflammation from some dental problems so will be going in for surgery to correct that in February to ensure theres nothing contributing to inflammation in my body. Once i'm in a stronger place to deal with it I'll start treating with antivirals and more aggressive treatments.
The most positive thing, is I looked my doctor in the eye, who is used to treating countless very complex cases, and asked him, if theres a chance I can get back to being in a pain free body with the energy of a healthy person, and he said if I stick to this, there is a good chance I can either get my autoimmunity into remission and recover or at least make enough improvements to live a much more comfortable life.
Want to thank everyone for supporting my music because thats been the best silver lining to this I could have asked for, reading through comments of support for Hi Ren and Sick Boi has really elevated my spirits, and having an exciting future to look forward too makes this process much easier, so thank you!

Concerning your doubts: 1. When someone comes along and raises the bar of what’s possible in any activity, it elevates the activity to those participating by making everyone’s expectations and effort rise and they tend to elevate the whole game to new levels and aspirations. It has happened since the beginning of time. A four minute mile was once thought impossible, now every good distance runner can do it. 2. People who make those comments are putting you down in hopes of making themselves feel better about about their inability to reach that level. 3. People are comparing you to Harry Mack, in my book that’s a win! 4. If everyone compared themselves to the Top in their field and gave up we wouldn’t have Google, Apple, Facebook, LeBron James, Eminem, and just about everyone and everything else wonderful and great in the world. When I first heard Ren...it was Hi Ren...I cried twice ...first time I saw it...once about halfway through and again at the end.
I ended up crying 20 to 30 times then before I could finally watch without crying.
Then I started watching reaction videos of Hi Ren and saw that a lot of people were emotionally moved by the message in the song.
It wrecked me because of the BEAUTY of the performance. Just the reverb trail at the end before Ren speaks probably made me cry 10 times.

This was performed live, and in one take. You really need to look into his backstory. He had a rough go of it for about 10 years. Misdiagnosed with schizophenia, dropped from Sony before ever producing any music because of it, and dealing with his actual illness, that turned out to be Lyme's disease.

Ive watched many reactions of this song, and the one thing ive noticed from all the reactors who are new to this song, is they start off joking around and light hearted, then the song plays, and you can see this song and how it opens something up inside them and the tone changes 180. I've been watching your reactions for nearly a year now but today I decided to go back to your first reactions on Ren....loving it.
I have been watching the Ren Roller-coaster for months, and this popped up and I realised I had never seen your first experience of Ren. How it all began!
He is a modern day bard plain and simple. This video has to travel around the internet like bards would travel around their world back in the OLD old days. They would do their thing for the King, and his loyal subscribers, I mean, subjects get to watch also. Its game changing performance art.
I’m so glad you talked about your experience w battling your mind about freestyling too! I’m a lyricist of 18 years, before falling into writers Block since 2013. (Started rhyming in’95) Recently, between this track and NF’s Hope, I’ve been inspired & Happy because I’ve only written 4 rhymes that I actually like since 2013 & 2 of them (newer for me, written in 2020 & 2021) are about Mental Health and I’ve been wanting to do an album about my physical & mental health, but have been battling myself the same way, thinking Em, MF Doom, NF & now Ren + others have already done it. I"m another person who has seen Hi Ren I don't know how many times now, from the original video popping up in my suggestions to watching the countless reaction videos. It still hits home on so many levels each time. Sometimes giving me the sniffles or getting me outright sobbing, depending on my emotional state at the moment. I'm so glad that It showed up in my UA-cam feed and that Ren is getting so much recognition. He calls this genre "bardcore". which I think is a fabulous name. encompassing telling his story through music and getting a bit hardcore with his guitar playing and the tonal contrast he gets.

You have given so much to so many by being your authentic self. Even the parts from which you might want to run.
I wish you peace and improved health on your journey. You are making such a positive impact on this world. Especially with a population, with which I relate, that is often overlooked and shunned because mental health is not understood.
Thank you for showing me how to accept all parts of myself, the light with the dark, and the dark with the light. I found you by chance on June 2nd of 2023. I am so grateful I did. I have not been myself for a long time. Reading often helps me escape. While reading Tolkien, fixating on his poetry and how that sounds when sung, I searched for misty mountains arrangements.
After digging through that for a while, discovering the Peter Hollins with Tim Foust version (epic arrangement and worth a listen), I stumbled across some reaction channels; namely, the Charismatic Voice, reviewing that same Misty Mountains rendition. Then, a thumbnail showed up of the Charismatic Voice reacting to a video of some guy, wearing a hospital gown, holding a guitar. I was instantly curious.
Thus began my journey on the Ren roller coaster. I spent the next several hours, days and weeks devouring your content. Such breadth and depth had never been experienced by me in one artist. Stops included countless interviews and reactors. I loved watching people see your gifts for the first time, catching glimpses of the moments where I was first blown away being experienced by others. I especially enjoyed hearing their different views of what your words meant to them, and their learning from their own journeys.
I spent a good deal of time with Black Pegasus, watching him excitedly bring your talent to so many. Then I watched Rosalie Reacts, followed by Sabina, Virgin Rock, LeahReuben, Beth Roars, It’s Your Girl, Just Liz!, Kso Big Dipper, Life with Recklezz, Sing with Emma today, Watch BizMatik, tretvfrmdabx, Three Shades of Whatever, Knox Hill and so many more! The journey was endless, and therapeutic.
So why write this now? The last few days have been dark. My poetry even darker. While listening to your Freckled Angels album, your early version of Patience recorded in a living room, and a little more Hi Ren, this all just fell out of me. You know the feeling when you are in flow with the words and how they fit together? Things just work. I hope you enjoy the various Easter eggs from your catalogue and interviews.

The best is how UA-cam can help bring exposure to so many things. Somehow the rabbit hole brought me to Harry Mack and became and instant fan. Then through Harry Mack I was exposed to your channel. Your reactions are awesome and love how your break things down and gives me a different perspective to look at things. Then yesterday I got exposed to Ren which a recent video you mentioned him but I didn’t go check it out…random video suggested for me was Hi Ren. After listening to it I was blown away and after processing it all I was like damn Black Pegasus gotta react to it! And here you were already on it. Keep doing what you doing!
Ren wrote this, direct quote here about his struggles.
"Years before I was diagnosed correctly with autoimmunity, Lyme disease, and brain damage I was misdiagnosed as bipolar and spent years bouncing back and forth between therapists and trialing different antidepressants all the while getting worse and worse. With lots of things in life we expect to see fairly linear results rewarding the effort we put in. We put in the work, and are rewarded for our efforts. When you put in monumental levels of effort doing self work, stress reduction techniques, CBT, self affirmations, following strict medication regimes with pills with a long list of side effects, and end up worse it’s a really defeating and confusing place to be because it contradicts everything we’ve been taught. It shakes your trust in the medical system. I wanted to write something which captured the frustration of this journey. I wanted to write something which expressed all the things I wish I’d said to my doctors and therapists at the time, but didn’t have the words too."

Also, yes Ren is from the UK. He's simply a musician. He raps, he sings, he mixes music, he plays guitar in different bands, he's spent many years busking and trying to start different bands. He even had a "boy band" about a decade ago that didn't get much traction. He had Lyme disease that went untreated for nearly a decade and caused a lot of irreversible health issues for him, so he'll never be 100%. During that time he claims he had a voice talking to him. He does loads of covers, everything from Bob Marley to top pop songs. Several of his videos are just of him walking around the streets of his neighborhood singing and playing.
Brooooooo, really hit me when i heard you had doubts about freestyling and thinking to stop, PLEASE NEVER STOP!!! Honestly love the sound of your voice when you freestlye and the themes you bring in and the connections your mind makes, but most importantly i just feel you have an incrediblly distinct freestyle voice. You may not be as technical as Harry Mack but your freestlyes honestly have sometimes outdone some of his when you get in your bag and you start flowinggg, can definitely tell you have had a decent amount of experience in the past. Prefer the routes your freestyle starts taking and the fun you have with it, personally its all about seeing the enjoyment of the freestyler and them having fun with it and experimenting. Like stand-up comedy, sometimes you will be absolutely amazing and sometimes you may miss the mark, but you'll never know if you dont keep experimenting and learning. Never stop your freestyle game as long as you are still having fun with it, you have loads of fans who love the content just as much

you paused it on the most important and powerful line to me and likely many others, when he says I'm the voice that you hear when you loosen the noose on the rope.

The Lucifer breakdown IMO is the toxic part of his shadow asserting its integral and eternal, plus attempting to gain ultimate dominance. And it overwhelms the light side Ren, whom we don't hear again. But the Ren coming out afterward is the new Intergrated Ren, the Ren who isn't trying to suppress his darkness but is accepting it and embracing it -- dancing with it, as well as with his lown light. And thus becoming bigger than both.
This is also reflected musically. The dark side of him is somewhat discordant at parts, and during the Lucifer breakdown it's super chromatic and ugly as shit, while the light side Ren is always on-key and pretty. But, the main theme (the intro and outro) has elements of both. It's very musical and mostly on-key but then has a few chromatic elements (both in the guitar and the vocal melodies) that, to be honest, make it so much more interesting. He's better off with that part of him folded into the whole.

When you understand his severe and very long term health issues and misdiagnosis in plural, and the medical world experimenting with various drug therapies and treatments that made him into a sicker boi and telling him his illness must be all in his head because they could not diagnose correctly.
The disease that attacked him and the pharmacological treatments may well have stifled his creativity and ability to perform and get his art out to the people and must have been so debilitating to a young man who needed to create and share.
My understanding of ‘The Hunger’ goes a bit deeper than great rapping - the lyrics are very meaningful when looked at contextually, Metaphorically, symbolically

The Big Push is disbanded at this time. Ren is in Canada going through some treatment hell, while his music is finally getting a far wider audience thanks to fabulous reactors such as yourselves and his loyal supporters, and it must be so hard for him.
Before he got so sick he was on the verge of a recording deal with Sony. He went down like a tonne of bricks and his career was going down the toilet. How he got through those years of debilitating pain and distress I don’t know, but he made a decision not to be defeated by anything snd he would find ways to make his music and do everything to recover his health and sanity. The pig in his clips is perhaps a metaphor for the ‘snout in the trough’ perhaps greed , big pharma, capitalist consumerism under the guise of democracy. I’m getting too deep and raving like a loon and I dont ‘know’ REN’s life story - it’s just what I get from his lyrics and music and writings.
I worry about him like I worry about my sons who are the same age and are going through some of the very same things.
It’s a hell of a thing.
That was such a ripping reaction guys. Not every composition from Ren will smack you in the face and wake you the heck up. Some are sweet soft sad melancholy and some are just great fun. I think maybe he feels the music he wanted to create as a young dude couldn’t be created through his Personel health struggles when he could barely raise his arms Lots of time to think think and think some more. He’s enjoying catching up to the hip hop rap I reckon.
It’s hard to know what would have happened and what his music creations would be if he had never contracted a severe immunodeficiency disease. But we do know what he has been, and is creating now.
It’s eclectic, unique versatile, old style, new style, Ren style and it’s reflective of his life experiences. His deeply personal works are meaningful for so many people who have suffered and are suffering or may yet suffer similar issues. His words can offer empathy, understanding and hope to the depressed, oppressed the lonely, the frightened, and the sick and suffering fellow humans.
My hope is that he benefits from his current treatments and he can go on to compose and perform and produce more wonderful creations to make us smile, laugh, cry, grimace, groan, have ‘eureka!’ moments and just enjoy depth and the beauty of his music and poetry.
