Boy Mom here. I absolutely love to see him digging in at getting things done.
Lily is always amazing me. GET HER A HORSE!!!

Wonderful to see Grandma able to eat with the family again! And Lily in the kitchen - is there anything she can't do in there? She is such a multi-talented young girl. She can drive that cart like a champ and she great at towing with it. Jonah and Josiah working so hard to get things looking good on the property - Justin has every right to be a proud dad. Gideon is coming along and that Henry, watch out for him. I love watching this family.

💝Love how you are shining Lily! Your driving is spectacular! Your cooking rocks! You are doing so many jobs around the farm. Your parents are raising you for success. 🔅The job of getting the water and electricity laid is going well in spite of minor setbacks. And little Henry, you are so sweet with your yes to everything! Can hardly wait to hear you add more words to your vocabulary. I wonder how you will enlighten us as to what is going on then. 🔅Will be looking forward to seeing more progress on your home. 🔅Take care! Stay safe! ❇❇❇

Add a dumbwaiter to move the heavy stuff ( milk, cream, meat, etc.) . Use the stalls nearest to the stairs for a milk and cream separation. A second for meat larder. A third for a pantry. The dumb waiter can then move that stuff to the kitchen and their location in the basement means easy storage from the driveway.

You have a lot of graveled roadways you might want to get a Box Scraper for the tractor to help in grading the roadways. It will allow you to pull bunched gravel up into exposed parts and to level the roadway. I would suggest creating chevrons on critical pieces of the roadway where you are seeing severe washout to help in diverting rainwater off the roadway. When possible you will want to alternate the directions of the chevrons so you do not over burden fields with water and cause other issues. You have some steep sections of roadway that would benefit from this. Look towards making your roadways work more for you in regarding runoff and that is both for rain and snow. When you make the chevrons continue a small shallow ditch about 6" into your field to help in diverting the water runoff successfully. I would only need to be about 4" deep to work and grass can grow in it as long as you make sure it is not clogged with dead grass or debris. Just another part of living and working on hilly territory.

Josiah, check Selma for zerk fittings. If you don't have a manual look on line. Greasing those vehicles should be a frequent part of a maintenance routine on all the equipment you folks have. WD49 is ok for door hinges, but not axles and wheels. With 5 drivers in the family, your equipment gets used a lot and is a giant investment. If your dad or grandfather aren't comfortable showing you how to do that stuff, maybe Randolph can give you a heads up when he is maintaining something so you can watch and learn.
Jonah beautiful job on the road. You are definitely getting more skilled on that equipment.

Great visit --- everything was inspiring. I have no blow torch but I'm boilin' (bowlin' as a southerner would say) some water to see if the black hose will soften enough. .... (when the visit is over).
Lily driving, Jonah cookin' and gratin' and how about Josiah being able to so beautifully be able to fill in that line? Master Yellow Boots up to the shenanigans and Henry becoming Salty. Good to see Gramma a minglin'.
Dang if my job of putting a shut off valve on didn't go as smooth as butter. I'd been putting it off thinking how I'd seen you using your blow torch and thanks for inspiring the Dokkodo out of me.

That was fun to see you get pigs to the guy picking up a couple of pigs. I'm glad you got some of the air out of your water system. I'm surprised climbing that steep mountain helps with your ankles. Henry did good up the mountain and down in the ergo. Yum, rotisserie chicken! I'm glad grandma got through her treatment. That's too bad you have to re-do the whole roof for the remodel. It makes sense that you have to do it right or not at all! Randolph's idea for taking the top off the walk-in freezer worked. It sounds like you need trusses for the new roof! I'm so glad the boys got Selma! Nice, skit filmed by Austin for the Homesteaders Builds kickstarter happening June 1st! Sally is getting worked on. Nice work on the road with the track loader Jonah! Josiah did a great job on burying the water and electric lines. So much on this video Justin! Thanks for this Rhodes family! Lily is an amazing cook and I hope she gets lots of plastic horses!

PS: i feel like the other cabin and especially the barn should be much more included into this "construction period" so under-utilised - why not make a proper office space in the other studio cabin, and create a wonderful living area in the barn (also for the winter if needed), so you dont feel so cramped in the current home... Lets be honest, never ever was a rebuilt project finished on time, better be ready for delays
