This was a great idea, but having two conflicting songs playing at the same time is impossible for me. I go from relaxed to anxiously overfocusing on the mixed up sounds.
This is a great mix of relaxing music. One suggestion I would make (not that you asked) is to mute the original game music in the background. At times it competed with the overlayed music. I know having the bird sounds and ocean waves is appealing but the game music was a little distracting at time. Not a big big deal but thought I would point it out! Thanks for making great videos like this!
Don't think it's game music - I think it's just added ambience. But I agree that the mix is wrong regardless - the background noise needs to be in the background, and the music louder.
@@leoking3235 I’ve got 500+ hours in the game and listen to the OST while I work so I can assure you it’s the in game music that wasn’t dropped out of the background. I agree though - ambient sounds are great when they are added rather than left in for sure!
You don't know how much I appreciate your feedback. Back when I made this it was purely for my own entertainment and relaxation, and I figured I'd share it with the world in case anybody would like to enjoy with me. I knew there were some mistakes, but it was a concept I liked nevertheless. Nearly a year later I see that my video has nearly 100k views. I find it incredible frankly, and very flattering that this many people would watch.
About 40 minutes in I realized I was hearing 2 songs at once and it started driving me nuts. I skipped to the next song just to realize it's this way throughout the whole video... and now I can't unhear it and it's driving me nuts lol
Noticed it around the same time and first checked if I accidentally opened youtube twice and have two different videos going on at the same time. Can't continue listening from here.. lol
i just love that they used my favorite video of zelda music as a base for puting ambient songs and i just love that bettwen min 19:37 you can hear hateno village song ots just beatifull and amazing
I’ve listened to a number of relaxing game music playlists (and specifically Zelda, too) and just stumbled on this one for the first time today. Love it! Very well done overall. I’m not a fan of the playlists that just have a static image so this is brilliant and just what I was looking for. I also really appreciate the ambient sounds in the background but agree with others who have mentioned the competing/conflicting music. It only distracted me once or twice, though. I’d rather have it like this than without the ambient sounds, though!
I'm not sure if the audio is corrupted in this video or something, but there are random notes played softly throughout the video, almost like songs were stacked..? I may be a little stoned but man I hit play and immediately started melting this may have helped cure my insomnia for the night (it's fucking 5am and I have a toddler that likes to wake up early so I need all the help I can get thanks)
Good luck with your toddler! Family is important, and I know drugs (and the like) is often a coping mechanism, but I also hope you are being wise about it, and possibly getting help if you need it ^-^
@@qidex who said anything about drugs? Lol I only use cannabis. Although I do need some actual drugs. I've been thinking about how much I need to get to a doctor to get back on antidepressants and anxiety and pain meds. But for now weed is all I've got and at least it helps all that!
I don't know if it was just a spelling mistake but it's Wind Waker (without the L). It fits quite well as it really "wakes up" the wind. In Germany it's Baton of the Wind as well.

@@majordemo4391 Yeah but usually Gamescapes uploads 4k BOTW scenery videos from an emulator and a lot of people use his vids without credit, so I was suspicious that this person did the same, because you can’t hide the GUI completely without mods
@@Andriale I record my own BOTW videos like this, but I don't use a mod, I use a capture card. I set it to pro mode, and just make sure the hearts at the top are out of the screen when recording.
