Sooo.... whoever drew the characters in this video, can they please make a manga? Because their art is beautiful and I'd 100% be down to read a manga with their artwork lol.
Sorry to disagree, I would say, they are more on the intermediate side of the process, the style is cute, but a little imprecise, wobbly and smudged at times. The full illustration with screen tone is the best in the video though.
I don't say they are bad, but I have to see a story, that have to come from somewhere, and a consistent output.
A manga usually has about 120 pages, a mangaka has to put out a manga ca every 2 months(60 days) and has to count in the editor, so about 40 days for 120 pages to write, sketch, panel, line, type, add screen tone, clean up, make 5 covers, in full colour, scan and send to the editor on time.

Illien Galene I think the point being made is that the artist maybe didn’t do their BEST work for the video, implying that if it came to doing art for manga, they might have better technique. But really.. you kinda being harsh. Lol

Touch markers,bianyo and ohuhu markers are pretty great (I have a friend who does fashion sketches professionally and she uses the bianyo markers)

Fact: you do not need a lot of supplies to start drawing. There is no need for you to waste money on stuff you won't need as beginner artist. Just normal drawing paper and pencil will also do. You can go for better quality art supplies when you have improved yourself enough to be able to use them in the correct way and make the most of them💙

The thing is I used a a regular pencil and my drawings didn’t come out well but when I used my friend’s mechanical one my drawings came out exact how I wanted
@@chawanzimwale1509 lead on pencil is way thicker and mechanical pencil is a lot less thick that’s prob why
@@chawanzimwale1509 you should have sharpened your pencil more, that's it. Having a cool pen helps you draw, tho.
Also, not every single expensive item is necessarily the best one, use what works for you.

That's cool, gonna get myself some of these, i draw as a Hobby and i want to try comic or manga drawing, i also have a Plan on what im trying first, im gonna Experiment with some artstyles first and then use my favorite one to try and adapt the first Skulldugery pleasent book (irish Urban Fantasy with Magic) into a Comic, it will probably take quite some time, but im Sure it'l be worth it.

What are screen tone and why are they so satisfying
I tried the Speedball white acrylic ink, and I wonder if I have to wait for it to dry before I ink over it. I use to use Gouache, and it would temporarily clog my micron pens. Is the Speedball white ink used for just fixing mistakes, and if I want the white more opaque, should I just go over it with the Deleter, or kure take white ink? Also, like the Deleter ink, and the Kuretake ink, I have to stir it, or shake it before I dip the brush in. And if I want to have A flat brush stroke, should I use A flat brush instead of A round one so that I don't have to thin it down with water, or scrape it off with A blade?
Aeon Flux but I'm not sure if that's Manga, Anime or neither. Almost strikes me as being maybe inspired by one of those and has some changes thrown in.

I had the tachikawa nib holder and my experience was awful. It did not fit standard nibs and it was very uncomfortable to hold. Maybe I got a bad one, not sure
Please do a video specifically on 0.3 lead pencils I feel like it's so hard to find them personally I've used the mono and liked it , and have been using the uni alpha slim for 3.5 years now I feel like it might be time for a new pencil since the grip is starting to wear down pls shine some light on the finer point lovers
have u tried the pentel orenz? its really easy to control the pressure while drawing. I think it comes in a newer version with a heavy grip like a pro drafting pencil
@@blooj3663 ya its really uncomfortable for me, cause I use these for writing rather than drawing, I tend to write ALOT and am looking for something that is comfortable, and looks nice cause tea is I think the pentel is ugly, I do have a great graph though and it writes ok but I've never found anything as good as my uni
